2023-24 Underdog Fantasy Basketball Rankings

With the regular season closing in, best ball draft season rolls on. The ADP on Underdog has been shifting dramatically over the last few weeks since drafts opened. They’ve also made some changes to their tournament offerings and format.

Two seasons ago, Underdog’s main NBA Best Ball tournament overlayed badly. They split things up last year between two tournaments at the $5 and $25 entry fee levels. This season, it looks like they’ve found a happy medium with the “Double Dribble” tournament having a $10 entry fee and 56,400 spots. The biggest change we need to pay attention to is the payout structure. In the past, Underdog has paid out the prize pool to those who advance through their three “playoff” rounds. 

This season, they’ll pay out the majority of the prize pool (including the $75k top prize) to the top 11,000 scoring teams during the “regular season” period. Then there will be additional payouts for the three playoff rounds, with $10k to the winner of that three-round competition. Below are my top-200 Underdog NBA best ball rankings. Keep in mind that Underdog uses three positions, guards, wings and bigs. Each week of the regular season and each playoff round, your top scoring two guards and wings will count, compared to just one big and one flex (top score of the remaining players on your roster).
