He will return for the Spurs in their Thursday afternoon matchup in Paris against the Indiana Pacers, and he could jump right back into the starting five or come off the bench. Either way, he will likely play limited minutes after such an extended layoff. In his 22 games this season, the 21-year-old is averaging 13.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists while playing 28.6 minutes per game. His return will likely eventually cut into the playing time of Stephon Castle, Keldon Johnson, and Julian Champagnie.

Still, Sochan will likely be found in most fantasy lineups if he's cleared to play. But if he isn't, Stephon Castle, averaging 14.9 points and 4.1 assists in 23 starts during the 2024-25 campaign, will presumably continue to fill the void in the rotation.

Sochan will be sidelined for the fourth consecutive game due to back spasms. Stephon Castle will likely continue to step in for the 21-year-old as he posted 26 points (9-21 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds and four assists across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 129-115 loss to the Grizzlies.
