New Orleans Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray (elbow) remains on the injury report with elbow bursitis but is considered probable to play against the Utah Jazz on Friday. Murray, along with the entire Pelicans' roster, has had some injury troubles this year, but hasn't needed to miss a game since the end of November. The Jazz have a lengthy injury report, so Murray could be in line for a good night while Brandon Ingram (ankle) and Herbert Jones (shoulder) remain sidelined. In a down year, he still averages 17.2 points, 7.6 assists, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game.

New Orleans Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray (elbow) is available for Wednesday night's game against the Dallas Mavericks. Murray has been dealing with right elbow soreness but has been able to play through it. The 28-year-old has started to heat up from deep, shooting 42.1% from three over his last five games on 7.6 attempts per game. Three of those games have been with Zion Williamson active. In the games Williamson has not been active he's only taken five threes in each game. With Williamson inactive tonight, Murray may not take as many threes but should still be a factor against a weakened Dallas team.

New Orleans Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray (elbow) will play on Tuesday against the Chicago Bulls. The former Hawk has turned up the volume on the statistical end of late, averaging 18.4 points, 8.0 assists, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.9 steals in seven appearances in January. But he could be even more productive versus the Bulls, a team that has allowed 120.8 points per game this season, the second-worst average in the National Basketball Association. With Murray cleared for action, it will likely mean less work for Jose Alvarado, who would have been in line to start.
