Miami Heat forward Nikola Jovic (illness) will be in the lineup on Friday against the Toronto Raptors. The 21-year-old has shaken off a questionable tag and is ready to make his 30th consecutive appearance after winning a bout with a stomach bug. Jovic has made big strides in 2024-25, averaging 10.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists. He has even boosted his offensive output to 13.1 points in February, sinking 2.4 triples per game.

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (shoulder) will play on Friday against the Toronto Raptors. Initially, the team listed him as probable for the game with a sore right shoulder. Before the All-Star break, Herro battled a stomach bug, but he was fantastic in the last game against the Dallas Mavericks, going off for 40 points. However, Bam Adebayo (knee) was out of the lineup that day. With Adebayo back against Toronto, Herro will likely have less usage on the offensive end. Still, another big effort isn't out of the question for Herro, as he has averaged 25.7 points with 48.3 percent outside shooting in the matchup against the Raptors this season.

The 21-year-old has started to carve out a bigger role on the team, especially since Jimmy Butler was traded. He's seen the most playing time of his career so far and has turned into averages of 10.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.7 threes, and 1.4 turnovers per game. If he's unable to suit up, Alec Burks would see extra time off of the bench while Kyle Anderson and Jaime Jaquez Jr. continue to see bigger roles as well.
