Trae Young Cleared To Meet Orlando

Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (Achilles) will play on Thursday versus the Magic. The 26-year-old has battled various ailments throughout the 2024-25 campaign. Yet, he's only missed four games. With the Hawks dealing with injuries, Young has stepped up, with the former Oklahoma Sooner averaging 30.9 points and 12.3 assists in seven appearances in February, making him a welcome addition to any fantasy lineup.

Clint Capela Available Against Magic

Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela (back) will be available for Thursday's matchup against the Orlando Magic. Capela has yet to play this month after dealing with back issues. He disappeared from the injury report before the All-Star break but was inactive for a couple of games. On Wednesday, Hawks head coach Quin Snyder said that he believes Capela will be available against Orlando, but it remains to be seen if he gets any action. Onyeka Okongwu took over the starting job at center on Jan. 20. With Larry Nance Jr. (knee) on the shelf, minutes have opened up for a backup big.

Trae Young Likely To Play Against Magic

Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young (Achilles) is listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic. Tendinitis in his right Achilles tendon keeps Young on the injury report, but he has played through the issue the entire season. Despite dealing with the injury, Young has enjoyed a fabulous campaign, averaging 23.7 points and 11.5 assists. Right before the All-Star break, Young had a huge 38-point, 19-assist effort against the New York Knicks, so his confidence should be sky-high ahead of Thursday's outing.
