The former Duke Blue Devil finished with 21 points, nine assists, and seven boards against the Bulls on Tuesday night, and he was only on the floor for 24 minutes. But he'll take the night off to rest on Wednesday before likely returning on Friday against the Utah Jazz. Without Williamson in the mix, Javonte Green may fill the void in the lineup, with the 31-year-old averaging 7.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 13 starts during the 2024-25 campaign.

According to Shams Charania, New Orleans Pelicans forwardZion Williamson(suspension) won't suit up against the 76ers due to being suspended one game for violating team policies. Williamson's next opportunity to return to the floor is on Sunday against Boston. Herbert Jones(shoulder) will also be missing in action. With Williamson and Jones sidelined, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl,Javonte Green, andBrandon Boston will take on more minutes and will potentially have more scoring chances than usual.

As expected, Williamson will sit out the second half of back-to-back contests after returning on Tuesday in a 104-97 loss to the Timberwolves. In his return the 24-year-old posted 22 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block in 28 minutes after missing 30 games this season after dealing with a right hamstring strain. Javonte Green will likely gain some extra playing time during Williamson's absence.
