Los Angeles Lakers forward Jarred Vanderbilt (foot) is not listed on the injury report for Saturday's contest against the Denver Nuggets. The 25-year-old looks set to return from a one-game absence. Following foot surgery, Vanderbilt made his season debut only a month ago, so the Lakers didn't want to overwork him when they had a back-to-back scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday. Vanderbilt has had a limited role in the rotation, averaging 3.1 points and 5.9 rebounds across 16.1 minutes.

With Luka Doncic (calf) out and LeBron James (foot) questionable, there could be plenty of time available, but Vanderbilt won't be part of the solution. Instead, Dalton Knecht, Dorian Finney-Smith, and Alex Len will likely get more playing time in the frontcourt, especially if LeBron is ruled out as well.

After recovering from surgery on both feet, the 25-year-old has suited up for two games this season. He's played under 15 minutes per game and is likely resting for the second half of a back-to-back set. His next opportunity to play comes on Thursday against the Washington Wizards.
