Each team’s ranking is calculated using a combination of projected performance and adjusted results to date. The rankings are based on:

Adjusted Runs For – Team’s projected scoring output, adjusted for opponent strength and ballpark
Adjusted Runs Against – Projected runs allowed, adjusted the same way
Adjusted Win % – Win rate based on simulated matchups over a full season
Expected Wins – Projected win total based on 10,000 season simulations

These rankings reflect long-term strength, not just recent results. That means teams are ranked based on how they’re expected to perform moving forward — not just where they are in the standings today.
