Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun (back) won't play on Wednesday against the Clippers. Houston will enter the postseason as the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference. As a result, Sengun, Dillon Brooks (rest), Jabari Smith Jr. (groin), Fred VanVleet (ankle), and Amen Thompson (rest) will get the night off. Jalen Green and Tari Eason are good to go, so it's logical to assume they'll carry the load offensively. But as far as the center spot is concerned, Steven Adams, averaging 10.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, and 1.3 steals in three starts this season, is worth considering for DFS lineups.

The big man from Turkey is dealing with soreness in his lower back and might be absent from the lineup for only the fifth time this season. Steven Adams and Jock Landale are likely to see increased usage if Sengun is ruled out for the game. Jabari Smith Jr. (groin) can also fill minutes at center, but he isn't at 100 percent either and has joined Sengun on the injury report with a questionable designation.

He is battling back soreness, and the team has downgraded Sengun from questionable to out. At the same time, Steven Adams (ankle) has been upgraded to available, so he will help to fill the void left by Sengun's absence, along with Jock Landale, who has been named a starter for the contest. Jabari Smith Jr. will likely also help to fill some of the minutes at center.
