According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Rockets are "less likely" to pursue a trade for Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant. ESPN's Shams Charania reported KD to Houston could be a possibility. However, the Stein Line has reported that a move between the clubs isn't expected since Durant "is not on the same timeline as Houston's promising young core." The multi-time All-Star is due to make north of $50 million in 2025-26, so a swap between the Rockets and Suns presumably would need to involve a few top-tier players. At any rate, Durant likely won't be in Phoenix next season. But no matter where he ends up, he should remain a top-15 fantasy option heading into the 2025-26 campaign.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Rockets might be interested in trading for Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant this offseason. Charania stated both sides have a "level of mutual interest," although things could change depending on how far the Rockets advance during the playoffs. He has one year left on his current deal, so it's unknown how much Houston would be willing to give up. Still, acquiring Durant, who averaged 26.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.1 blocks this season, could make the Rockets an even bigger threat to clubs around the National Basketball Association. As far as his fantasy outlook is concerned, he should remain a valuable fantasy asset in 2025-26, no matter where he ends up. However, Durant will need to stay healthy, with the veteran logging only 60 games during the 2024-25 campaign.

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker is not considering abandoning ship after the team's disappointing season. "I've spoke on it plenty of times," Booker told Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic. "I'm sure the people are sick of hearing my Phoenix love story, but I'm deeply rooting into this community. I take a lot of pride in it. We've built it from the ground up before. I didn't think I'd be back in this situation, but it shows you how hard the league is. Once we get back to that championship level, I'll be able to shed light on people that it can change very quickly." While Booker is adamant about staying, the Suns are poised to undergo major changes, which could include trading Kevin Durant.
