Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) won't play on Friday against the Kings. However, he has resumed practicing. The 22-year-old last played during the win over Memphis on January 4. Unfortunately, he suffered a sprained right ankle, keeping him off the floor for the Warriors' last 21 contests. With the latest update, it appears Kuminga could be back in the lineup soon. But it will likely take him time to return to form once he's cleared. In addition, the arrival of Jimmy Butler could negatively impact Kuminga's contributions in all statistical categories, although fantasy managers should still wait to see how things play out. In the meantime, Moses Moody and Brandin Podziemski should continue to see more work.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry played a big part in leading Team Shaq to the All-Star Game Championship in the new format that debuted this year. In the semifinal matchup against the Rising Stars, coached by Candace Parker, Curry dropped eight points in a game to 40. Then, in the final matchup against Team Chuck, he contributed 12 points, four rebounds, one assist, and two steals in the 41-25 victory. The Warriors' first game back from the All-Star Break will be Friday against the Sacramento Kings as they try to make a playoff push with new addition Jimmy Butler.

Golden State Warriors guard/forward Gary Payton II (leg) is a late scratch for Thursday's matchup against the Houston Rockets. He didn't appear on the initial injury report before the team ruled Payton II out due to a right peroneal contusion. With Payton II's absence, Golden State loses one of its best defenders, but the late change in the lineup will not have any significant circumstances in fantasy basketball.
