It’s Wednesday, and that means it’s time to break out the fantasy football flex rankings for Week 6 of the 2023 NFL season. If you’re new to the concept of flex rankings, these are simply the combined overall rankings for running back, wide receiver, and tight end for each week during the fantasy football season. These are not suggestions for who to start in your flex spots.
This list is our initial rankings, but rankings will change a lot throughout the week. This post will not be updated, so if you want all the latest updates, then be sure to check our staff rankings page. Promo code “RATPACK” gets you a discount on any FTN subscription.
Week 6 Flex Rankings (2023) – Top 100
1. Christian McCaffrey (RB1) at CLE – McCaffrey has scored a touchdown in 14 straight games.
2. Tyreek Hill (WR1) vs. CAR – Last week was Hill’s fifth game with 175-plus yards in a Dolphins uniform. He’s played just 22 games in Miami.
3. Ja’Marr Chase (WR2) vs. SEA – Chase exploded for a Bengals franchise record 15 catches last week.
4. Stefon Diggs (WR3) vs. NYG – Only Tyreek Hill has more fantasy points among wide receivers over the first five weeks of the season.
5. Cooper Kupp (WR4) vs. ARI – He’s baaaaaaack.
6. Tony Pollard (RB2) at LAC – I know. He’s been frustrating, but Pollard gets a favorable matchup against a Chargers defense that allows the seventh-most fantasy points per game to running backs.
7. Davante Adams (WR5) vs. NE – He’s coming off a down week, but Adams remains locked in as a front-end WR1 play.
8. Travis Etienne (RB3) vs. IND – Etienne led all running backs in fantasy scoring last week and faces a Colts defense that allows a rushing score per game to the position.
9. Bijan Robinson (RB4) vs. WAS – Even in a rough outing last week, Robinson still found pay dirt.
10. Josh Jacobs (RB5) vs. NE – Jacobs has topped 20 touches in 4-of-5 games this season.
11. Keenan Allen (WR6) vs. DAL – He’s back from bye and averages 11 targets per game this season.
12. David Montgomery (RB6) at TB – Montgomery has already scored six touchdowns on the season. That’s just two away from a career best.
13. Austin Ekeler (RB7) vs. DAL – All signs point to Ekeler returning to the Chargers lineup this week.
14. Raheem Mostert (RB8) vs. CAR – With De’Von Achane on the shelf, Mostert slides into RB1 territory in a plus matchup this week.
15. Travis Kelce (TE1) vs. DEN – Kelce got to limited Tuesday and figures to play against the Broncos on Thursday night.
16. Kenneth Walker (RB9) at CIN – Walker enters the week ninth among running backs in fantasy points per game.
17. A.J. Brown (WR7) at NYJ – The Eagles wideout has topped 125 receiving yards in each of his last three games.
18. Kyren Williams (RB10) vs. ARI – Don’t worry about last week. Williams is still a bell cow and gets a favorable matchup this week.
19. Joe Mixon (RB11) vs. SEA – He hasn’t been efficient, but Mixon is tied for fifth in the league in touches with 97.
20. Alvin Kamara (RB12) at HOU – The Saints are leaning on Kamara, and he faces a Texans defense that allows a rushing score per game to running backs.
21. CeeDee Lamb (WR8) at LAC – We’ve yet to see the Cowboys in a competitive game. That should change Monday night, which is good for Lamb’s fantasy value.
22. Puka Nacua (WR9) vs. ARI – Cooper Kupp returned, and Nacua continued to produce.
23. DJ Moore (WR10) vs. MIN – Moore is up in WR1 territory after his massive Week 5 performance.
24. Derrick Henry (RB13) vs. BAL – The Ravens have been very stingy on the ground, pushing Henry down to fringe-RB1 territory.
