Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier carried the ball 11 times last week, the third time in the last five weeks that he's reached double-digit attempts while recording two TDs during that time. The 24-year-old nearly had a score last week as well, as the Falcons gave him three straight attempts from one yard out, only to be stuffed by the defense each time. Still, it means they trust him with the ball down there, even with star running back Bijan Robinson in tow. Still, without much of a role in the passing game, he's hard to trust for fantasy purposes as he isn't going to get many points unless he finds paydirt. Against a middle-of-the-road Denver rush defense this week, the matchup may look somewhat enticing, but with a somewhat low expected total and the Falcons as two-point underdogs, the potential game script does not appear to be in Allgeier's favor. View him as a mid-to-low-end RB3 in Week 11.
Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier (quadriceps) is on his way to being available to play in Week 11 on the road against the Denver Broncos on Sunday after putting in a full practice on Thursday. Allgeier started the week off with a limited session on Wednesday. The matchup on the road against a top-five defense in the NFL isn't an ideal one for fantasy purposes, but the 24-year-old should remain involved alongside Bijan Robinson in Atlanta's offense. Allgeier has had double-digit touches in three of the last five games, including valuable ones near the goal line. Denver's defense has been good, but they've also been vulnerable on the ground in recent weeks. Allgeier ranks 32nd among RBs with 85 carries and is averaging a career-high 5.0 yards per carry. The ceiling is obviously limited behind Robinson, but Allgeier should remain an RB3/flex consideration in fantasy.
Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier (quadriceps) was listed as a limited participant during the team's walkthrough practice on Wednesday. Allgeier apparently isn't 100 percent coming out of the team's Week 10 loss to the division-rival New Orleans Saints, but his injury doesn't sound serious enough to put him in danger of missing a Week 11 tilt against the Denver Broncos on the road. The 24-year-old has taken a back seat to Bijan Robinson in Atlanta's backfield this year, as expected, but he's seeing enough weekly volume to put him in the RB3/flex tier of RBs more often than not. Plus, all three of his double-digit carry games have come in three of the last five games. Allgeier even has a 100-yard rushing game in 2024. Denver's defense has been strong against the run this year, but they've also allowed the fifth-most half-PPR points per game to RBs in the last three weeks.
