Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier carried the ball 12 times for 43 yards in Monday's 15-9 win over the Raiders. Bijan Robinson was given 22 carries, so Allgeier was spelling his backfield mate at times throughout the game and helping to kill the clock late when it seemed clear that the Falcons did not want Kirk Cousins throwing the ball if he didn't need to. It was the first time since Week 10 that the 24-year-old earned double-digit carries, but without finding paydirt, it was an unremarkable fantasy performance. Without a consistent workload or goal line role, the former fifth-round draft pick is hard to justify as even a flex option, more so now that we're in the fantasy playoffs. The Falcons get the Giants at home next Sunday and Allgeier will probably again only be used sporadically, especially given how good Robinson has looked this season.

The third-year back finished the game with nine carries for 63 yards and a score but didn't post any stats in the passing game. Allgeier now has two weeks as an RB2 or higher after this performance. He's not very reliable for fantasy managers in the playoffs unless injuries pile up. The Falcons will take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 15.

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier carried the ball eight times for 16 yards and even caught a pass for six yards in Sunday's 17-13 loss to the Chargers. The eight carries were encouraging given that he didn't receive even a single attempt last week, but it was still a drop in the bucket compared to Bijan Robinson's 26 carries and six receptions, so Robinson managers need not worry about Allgeier cutting into his workload. With Allgeier averaging 5.7 yards per rush earlier in the season, there may have been some reason to give the 24-year-old more work, but that has slowly trended downward, now averaging 4.8 YPR. With Robinson looking like one of the most talented workhorse backs in the league, Allgeier remains an afterthought for fantasy. Unless it sounds like the Falcons will try to hide Kirk Cousins' arm in Week 14, there likely won't be a reason to use the third-year pro in most lineups.
