Las Vegas Raiders running back Alexander Mattison could be a nice RB3/FLEX play in Week 11, when his team will take on the Miami Dolphins. He's set to be the starting RB for his team for the fourth time in a game with his now-backup Zamir White, after taking over the starting job due to White's poor performances. Mattison has nice pass-catching upside and four scores on the season, meaning in deeper PPR leagues, he's a solid flex player. His usage will likely come down to game script, but there's enough upside to chase in leagues with lots of teams, where finding any edge possible is a necessity. He's averaging just under 3.3 yards per carry on the season, though, so in non-PPR leagues, he's better off as a bench stash.

The game got out of hand quickly, leading to few rushing opportunities for the team's RBs overall. He wasn't targeted in the passing game, though, and had a rushing touchdown snagged by his backup, Zamir White. Should White continue to handle the goal-line opportunities, Mattison could see his already shaky fantasy value fall even further. The lack of involvement in the passing game is also concerning. Moving forward, he's best viewed as a RB3/FLEX option in deep PPR leagues. He'll have a bye week in Week 10 before facing the Miami Dolphins in Week 11.

He's been inefficient as a runner, averaging just over 3.1 yards per carry on the season. Most of his value has come from rushing touchdowns and receiving work this season. He rushed 14 times for 15 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8, though they're the toughest run defense in the NFL this year. The Bengals present an easier matchup for him as they're closer to the middle of the pack in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. Mattison is an RB3/FLEX in PPR leagues for this matchup.
