Zay Flowers Breaks 100-Yard Mark Against Bengals

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers bounced back in a big way against the Cincinnati Bengals in a thrilling 41-38 overtime victory. The speedy wideout hauled in seven of his 12 targets for 111 yards and he received one carry for nine yards. Flowers seemed to be open almost every time Lamar Jackson looked for him whether it was a short, medium, or deeper route. The Ravens were trailing in this one until the very end of the game, forcing Jackson and company to throw the ball a lot more than in the previous two games. Flowers was the beneficiary yards-wise, but he's still searching for his second touchdown of the season. He'll try to find the end zone in Week 6 against the Washington Commanders.

Zay Flowers Looks To Get Back On Track In Week 5

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers put up two duds in back-to-back weeks when he registered finishes of WR81 and WR69 in half-PPR leagues. Coming into the season, his ceiling seemed to be closer to the WR1 level, but right now it seems to be low-end WR2. Lamar Jackson hasn't consistently proven that he can feed more than one pass-catcher per game, so Flowers will need to be efficient with the touches he receives. It may be a bit tough as the Cincinnati Bengals rank 22nd in points allowed to opposing receiving groups with 25.6 fantasy points per game. Since his potential is so game-script dependent, Flowers comes in as more of a low-level WR2 again for this AFC North matchup.

Zay Flowers Puts Up A Dud In Week 4

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers was virtually invisible in the team's blowout win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night. As the number-one receiver, Flowers only saw two targets, one reception, and 10 yards with no carries. The game script was very run-heavy in this game, much like their game plan against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3. The difference was that there weren't many manufactured touches for Flowers in this one. Justice Hill was the one to get the lion's share of targets in this game as the trend continues with Lamar Jackson only being able to feed one pass-catcher per game. Flowers will go up against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5 who are currently giving up an average of 25.6 fantasy points per game to opposing receiver groups in half-PPR formats.
