Jakobi Meyers Set To Continue Nice Production In WR1 Role

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (hamstring) has had back to back games of double-digit PPR fantasy point performances, racking up 17.2 points in Week 8 and following that up with 18.5 in Week 9. He'll be well-rested after his Week 10 bye when he faces the Miami Dolphins on Sunday in a Week 11 contest featuring two teams with losing records. Meyers will square off at least part of the time with highly-accomplished cornerback Jalen Ramsey in a must-win for Miami, who has a glimmer of playoff hope left. It will be a tough test, but the sixth-year pro should be started in PPR leagues due to his excellent target volume -- he's had 18 targets in his last two games. He's been dealing with a hamstring injury this week, but practiced fully Wednesday through Friday and is expected to play, so this ailment shouldn't be a concern. Treat him as a WR2 for fantasy purposes.

Jakobi Meyers Has Huge Day In Week 9

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers was the clear No. 1 receiver for the team in Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He hauled in eight of 11 targets for 105 yards on the day, and was the most targeted Raiders offensive player. He consistently won on his routes and has earned 54 targets over his seven games played this season, making him a reliable fantasy option and a solid WR2 in PPR fantasy leagues. It's unlikely he'll cede many targets moving forward, considering that he's now the top dog in the wideout room. He'll have time to rest whatever remains of his previous ankle injury, as he has a bye week coming up. In Week 11, he'll continue his leading role against the Miami Dolphins with an extra week of rest under his belt.

Jakobi Meyers Off The Injury Report, A Good FLEX Start For Week 9

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (ankle) was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday and doesn't carry an injury designation in his Week 9 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Meyers continues to be one of the most underrated wideouts in football, likely because of his poor quarterback situation. He caught six passes on seven targets for 52 yards and a touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8. He'll face a softer Bengals defense that isn't quite as lockdown against receivers. He had solid production before garbage time against the Chiefs, making his game more impressive. He's an easy WR3/FLEX starter with WR2 upside in PPR fantasy leagues this week.
