It’s Wednesday, and that means it’s time to break out the fantasy football flex rankings for Week 9 of the 2022 NFL season. If you’re new to the concept of flex rankings, these are simply the combined overall rankings for running back, wide receiver and tight end for each week during the fantasy football season. These are not suggestions for who to start in your flex spots.

This list is our initial rankings, but it will change a lot throughout the week. If you want all the latest updates, then be sure to check our staff rankings page. Promo code “RATPACK” gets you 20% off of any FTN subscription.

Week 9 Flex Rankings (2022) – Top 100

1. Austin Ekeler @ ATL (RB1) – He’s back from bye and slides in as the No. 1 option with six teams and a number of key fantasy options with byes of their own this week.

2. Cooper Kupp @ TB (WR1) – Kupp hurt his ankle last week but claims to have “dodged a bullet.” If he is able to play, he remains the top wideout on the board.

3. Derrick Henry @ KC (RB2) – What do we get for an encore following his 200-yard performance last week?

4. Josh Jacobs @ JAX (RB3) – He’s coming off a down game, but Jacobs figures to bounce back in this favorable matchup.

5. Tyreek Hill @ CHI (WR2) – Hill is closing in on 1,000 receiving yards and has one of the highest ceilings of anyone in the league.

6. Justin Jefferson @ WAS (WR3) – Jefferson posted a ho-hum 98 yards on six catches last week and gets a nice upgrade here.

7. Stefon Diggs @ NYJ (WR4) – This isn’t an easy matchup for Diggs, but the Bills receiver is playing excellent football right now.

8. Alvin Kamara vs BAL (RB4) – Finally. We got a signature game from Kamara, and he figures to see another heavy workload with Mark Ingram on the shelf for the next 3-4 weeks.

9. Travis Etienne vs LV (RB5)Jamaal Charles 2.0 has officially taken over in Jacksonville.

10. Aaron Jones @ DET (RB6) – Jones had a strong performance last week against one of the league’s best run defenses and gets to face one of the league’s worst in this one.

11. Kenneth Walker @ ARI (RB7) – The rookie figures to see a heavy workload in this divisional game with the Seahawks currently holding down the top spot on the NFC West.

12. DeAndre Hopkins vs SEA (WR5) – In two games since returning from suspension, Hopkins has 22 catches for 262 yards and a score.

13. Davante Adams @ JAX (WR6) – Adams was clearly impacted by missing practice time last week with the flu. He bounces back here.

14. Dalvin Cook @ WAS (RB8) – Talk of a timeshare in the Minnesota backfield was overblown. This is still Cook’s show.

15. Travis Kelce vs TEN (TE1) – The stud returns from bye.

16. Joe Mixon vs CAR (RB9) – Mixon put up a dud in a good matchup last week, but he remains a high-volume back-end RB1.

17. Jonathan Taylor @ NE (RB10) – We’ll have to keep an eye on Taylor’s practice status, as he appeared to reaggravate his ankle injury last week.

18. Tee Higgins vs CAR (WR7) – Higgins found pay dirt last week as the de facto No. 1 with Ja’Marr Chase sidelined.

19. Dameon Pierce vs PHI (RB11) – This isn’t a good matchup, but Pierce remains one of the most heavily used backs in the league.

20. A.J. Brown @ HOU (WR8) – He was a monster last week and continues to be locked in as a top-10 play in a favorable spot Thursday night.

Miles Sanders Week 9 Fantasy Football Flex Rankings

21. Miles Sanders @ HOU (RB12) – Look for Philly to get up quickly and then ride Sanders this week.

22. Jaylen Waddle @ CHI (WR9) – He’s fourth among wideouts in receiving yards and is coming of a massive performance last week.

23. Rhamondre Stevenson vs IND (RB13) – Stevenson seems to have solidified his role as the lead back in New England.

24. Leonard Fournette vs LA (RB14) – This is a rough matchup for Fournette, but he’s still in the fringe RB1 conversation.

25. Amon-Ra St. Brown vs GB (WR10) – St. Brown looked to be back to his old self last week, notching 10 targets in that contest.
