Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (back) is officially active for Saturday's game against the Houston Texans. He had been listed as questionable but was trending in the right direction after the Ravens activated him from injured reserve. Over 13 games during the regular season, Duvernay amassed just four receptions for 18 total yards. He primarily contributed on special teams, returning 23 punts and nine kickoffs. He should continue to be avoided by fantasy managers and bettors ahead of the Divisional Round.
The Baltimore Ravens activated wide receiver Devin Duvernay (back) and cornerback Ar'Darius Washington (pectoral) from Injured Reserve on Friday. Both players practiced in full this week but were listed as questionable on the team's final injury report on Thursday, but they are both expected to play on Saturday in the Divisional Round of the playoffs against the visiting Houston Texans. Back spasms kept the 26-year-old Duvernay out of the final four regular season games, but he is going to return this weekend to give the Ravens some receiver depth and a special teams boost as a return option, especially with Tylan Wallace (knee) already ruled out. Duvernay wasn't much of a weapon on offense for the Ravens in 2023, catching just four passes for 18 yards and no touchdowns on nine targets.
With Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Tylan Wallace (knee) out for the Divisional Round playoff game on Saturday against the Houston Texans, receiver Devin Duvernay (back) will be activated from Injured Reserve and will play, according to head coach John Harbaugh. The Ravens currently have two open 53-man roster spots, one which will be used for Duvernay, and the other potentially for tight end Mark Andrews (ankle), who is also on IR. The 26-year-old Duvernay has practiced in full all week and will be active for the Ravens, although he most likely will not have a very active role in the offense against Houston. Duvernay hasn't played since Week 14 and has just four catches on nine targets for 18 receiving yards and no touchdowns during the regular season. He's more likely to contribute as a returner on special teams.
