It’s Wednesday, and that means it’s time to break out the fantasy football flex rankings for Week 12 of the 2023 NFL season. If you’re new to the concept of flex rankings, these are simply the combined overall rankings for running back, wide receiver, and tight end for each week during the fantasy football season. These are not suggestions for who to start in your flex spots.
This list is our initial rankings, but rankings will change a lot throughout the week. This post will not be updates, so if you want all the latest updates, then be sure to check our staff rankings page. Promo code “RATPACK” gets you a discount on any FTN subscription.
Week 12 Flex Rankings (2023) — Top 100
1. Christian McCaffrey (RB1) at SEA – McCaffrey leads the NFL with 825 rushing yards. No other player has over 700.
2. Tyreek Hill (WR1) at NYJ – He’s averaging 122.2 receiving yards per game and is on pace for over 2,000 yards on the season.
3. CeeDee Lamb (WR2) vs. WAS – After scoring just one touchdown over his first six games, Lamb has found pay dirt four times over his last four.
4. Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR3) vs. GB – St. Brown enters the week fifth in receiving yards (898) and seventh in catches (73).
5. A.J. Brown (WR4) vs. BUF – He’s coming off a down week, but Brown is still in the midst of a stellar season.
6. Jonathan Taylor (RB2) vs. TB – The Colts fully unleashed Taylor before their bye, feeding him 24 touches in their Week 10 win over New England.
7. Keenan Allen (WR5) vs. BAL – Allen is on pace for 144 receptions, which would be the third-most all-time behind only Michael Thomas (149 in 2019) and Cooper Kupp (145 in 2021).
8. Stefon Diggs (WR6) at PHI – We’ve seen back-to-back lackluster performances for Diggs, but the Eagles secondary has been getting lit up this season.
9. Travis Kelce (TE1) at LV – Kelce has seen at least eight targets in all but one game this season.
10. Mike Evans (WR7) at IND – Evans is now tied with Don Maynard for 15th all-time in receiving touchdowns with 88.
11. Travis Etienne (RB3) at HOU – He racked up 138 scrimmage yards on 23 touches against the Texans back in Week 3.
12. Austin Ekeler (RB4) vs. BAL – Ekeler is coming off his first game with over 4.0 yards per carry since Week 1. He averaged 6.4 yards per carry against the Packers last week.
13. Puka Nacua (WR8) at ARI – Nacua’s ranking will be impacted by Cooper Kupp’s status this week.
14. D’Andre Swift (RB5) vs. BUF – Through 10 games, Swift has touched the ball 180 times. That’s already the second-highest total of his career. His best was 213 in 2021.
15. Alvin Kamara (RB6) at ATL – Despite missing the first three games of the season due to suspension, Kamara leads all running backs with 50 catches.
16. Saquon Barkley (RB7) vs. NE – Like the Undertaker at WrestleMania, Barkley rose from the dead last week and posted elite fantasy numbers.
17. Josh Jacobs (RB8) vs. KC – Jacobs leads the league in touches with 231.
18. Jahmyr Gibbs (RB9) vs. GB – Gibbs has scored all five of his rushing touchdowns over his last four games.
19. Tony Pollard (RB10) vs. WAS – He’s coming off a solid outing in Week 11 and gets to face a Commanders defense that Saquon Barkley just torched.
20. Breece Hall (RB11) vs. MIA – It hasn’t been a standout season for Hall, but the Jets back has scored four times over his last six games.
21. Brandon Aiyuk (WR9) at SEA – Aiyuk has shown elite weekly upside this season and has topped 100 receiving yards in two of his last three games.
22. Derrick Henry (RB12) vs. CAR – We’re certainly backsliding with Henry in 2023, but this excellent matchup pushes him up into back-end RB1 territory.
23. Tank Dell (WR10) vs. JAC – Houston, we have liftoff. Dell is a fantasy football rocket ship over the last three weeks with a hefty four receiving touchdowns over that span.
24. Bijan Robinson (RB13) vs. NO – Arthur Smith finally came to his sense and fed Robinson 23 touches before the Falcons’ bye in Week 10.
