It’s Wednesday, and that means it’s time to break out the fantasy football flex rankings for Week 7 of the 2022 NFL season. If you’re new to the concept of flex rankings, these are simply the combined overall rankings for running back, wide receiver and tight end for each week during the fantasy football season. These are not suggestions for who to start in your flex spots.
This list is our initial rankings, but it will change a lot throughout the week. If you want all the latest updates, then be sure to check our staff rankings page. Promo code “RATPACK” gets you 20% off of any FTN subscription.
Week 7 Flex Rankings (2022) – Top 100
1. Saquon Barkley @ JAX (RB1) – He’s second among running backs in fantasy scoring and leads the NFL in touches with a massive 140.
2. Austin Ekeler vs. SEA (RB2) – Over the last three weeks, Ekeler has 391 scrimmage yards and six total touchdowns.
3. Derrick Henry vs. IND (RB3) – Henry has started roll over his last three games with four touchdowns and an uncharacteristic 13 targets.
4. Christian McCaffrey vs. TB (RB4) – Despite the utter ineptitude of the Panthers, McCaffrey has been able to produce and enters the week as fantasy’s No. 5 running back.
5. Jonathan Taylor @ TEN (RB5) – We don’t know if we’ll get Taylor back this week, but he’ll slide into front-end RB1 territory if he does return.
6. Ja’Marr Chase vs. ATL (WR1) – We got a signature Chase game last week, and given the bye week teams, he’s our top wideout option this week.
7. Rhamondre Stevenson vs. CHI (RB6) – When Damien Harris is out, Stevenson sees massive volume.
8. Alvin Kamara @ ARI (RB7) – Over the last two weeks, Kamara leads the NFL with 54 touches.
9. Nick Chubb @ BAL (RB8) – We finally got a letdown game from Chubb last week. It’s just a friendly reminder that if he doesn’t find the end zone as a runner, he’ll likely be a disappointing fantasy option.
10. Tyreek Hill vs. PIT (WR2) – Hill leads the NFL in receiving yards (701) despite not having Tua Tagovailoa over the last two weeks.
11. Davante Adams vs. HOU (WR3) – No suspension will come for Adams until the legal process plays out.
12. Mark Andrews vs. CLE (TE1) – He makes the game look easy.
13. Deebo Samuel vs. KC (WR4) – It hasn’t been a smooth ride with Samuel this season, but all the players on bye push him up in front-end WR1 territory.
14. Mike Evans @ CAR (WR5) – He’s converted three of his four end zone targets for scores this season.
15. Travis Kelce @ SF (TE2) – This isn’t an easy matchup, but Kelce is essentially matchup proof.
16. Leonard Fournette @ CAR (RB9) – Only Saquon Barkley and Joe Mixon have more touches through the first six weeks of the season.
17. Josh Jacobs vs. HOU (RB10) – In his two games before the Raiders Week 6 bye, Jacobs was a monster with 368 scrimmage yards and three scores.
18. Joe Mixon vs. ATL (RB11) – The Bengals runner came back to earth last week, but he remains a high-volume RB1 play.
19. Breece Hall @ DEN (RB12) – This is a tough matchup for Hall, but the rookie continues to impress as he’s seized control of the Jets backfield.
20. Kenneth Walker @ LAC (RB13) – In his first game as the lead back, Walker racked up 97 yards and a score on 21 carries. This is also a fantastic matchup for him.
21. Dameon Pierce @ LV (RB14) – Pierce has more than met the lofty expectations for him heading into this season and ranked 10th among running backs in fantasy scoring over the first five weeks of the season.
22. Aaron Jones @ WAS (RB15) – The Packers full-blown running back timeshare has limited Jones’ fantasy ceiling this season.
23. CeeDee Lamb vs. DET (WR6) – Do we get Dak back this week?
24. Amon-Ra St. Brown @ DAL (WR7) – St. Brown posted top-10 wide receiver numbers over the first five weeks of the season despite missing time with an ankle. He should be fully healthy coming off the Lions’ bye.
25. Michael Pittman @ TEN (WR8) – He saw a massive 16 targets last week and is in store for another healthy workload against divisional rival Titans.
26. DK Metcalf @ LAC (WR9)
27. Jaylen Waddle vs. PIT (WR10)
28. Chris Godwin @ CAR (WR11)
29. Tee Higgins vs. ATL (WR12)
30. Mike Williams vs. SEA (WR13)
31. Tyler Lockett @ LAC (WR14)

64. Jamaal Williams @ DAL (RB30)

67. Robert Woods vs. IND (WR33)
68. Rondale Moore vs. NO (WR34)
69. Darnell Mooney @ NE (WR35)
70. DJ Moore vs. TB (WR36) – Yes, you want to drop him, but are you going to find a receiver on waivers who has seen 26 targets over the last three weeks?
