Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins will look to rebound in a Week 11 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Dobbins saw a few of his snaps taken by the return of Gus Edwards (ankle), but it was likely much more due to the game script than to any actual change in the backfield. Dobbins is the overall fantasy RB25 this season, and he's been a top-15 fantasy finisher five times this year. He offers at worst a solid and consistently high floor, but is a weekly threat for a touchdown and has pass catching upside as well. This week, he'll face a Bengals defense that has been mostly solid but not unbeatable against the run. He missed a practice this week, but it was not injury related so there's no reason for concern. Trust Dobbins as a reliable RB2 in most leagues.
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins didn't do all that much in a Week 10 win over the Tennessee Titans. Dobbins carried the ball 15 times, gaining 50 yards. He was targeted in the passing game three times, making all three catches but gaining a total of just five yards through the air. Gus Edwards (ankle) returned from IR and took 10 carries of his own, eating into the workload of Dobbins. The Chargers were nursing a lead for most of the second half though, presumably in a closer game Dobbins will still be the top option in the backfield. That closer game could happen on Sunday Night Football in Week 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins has a tough matchup in Week 10, but should still be a solid RB2 option regardless. Dobbins is the overall RB13 in fantasy points per game, and the Chargers offense has run through him at certain points this season. He's coming off a big game in Cleveland where he scored 23.5 fantasy points and ended up as the week's RB6. The Titans defense is a bit more of a challenge, as they've held opposing running backs to the fourth-lowest rushing success rate and the third-lowest yards after contact rate as well. Still, with his heavy involvement and the Chargers generally heavily favored in this game, Dobbins should have his chances and is always a threat for the end zone.
