The Raiders are in turmoil right now. It makes sense that they would be the longest shot on the board at 15-1 to win a stacked AFC West. They finished in third place last season with a 6-11 record. They are projected to finish last with their uncertainty at the quarterback position for 2023.
The Broncos underperformed in 2022. Some picked them to upset the Chiefs and stay ahead of the Raiders and Chargers for a playoff berth at the very least. Instead, they finished fourth in the division with a 5-12 record. They are healthy heading into 2023 and have a new coaching staff. They are between +475 on Caesars and +600 on BetRivers.
The Chargers ended 2022 at 10-7. They are the second shortest price to win the AFC West. The Chargers are still +350, despite being the No. 2 choice. That has a lot to do with the incredibly low percentage chance the Raiders will be bad and the high percentage chance the Chiefs will win.
The Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champions and shortest price to win the AFC West in 2023. The best price is -160 on FanDuel, with the rest of the books having a number between that and the low of -182 on BetRivers.
