We’re in the championship round of the fantasy football season. If you’re playing this week, you certainly have a strong roster, but now is the time to decide who plays for the crown and who sits. The stakes couldn’t be higher than they are in Week 17.
One of the most popular tools here at FTN is our fantasy football rankings. Each week, we bring you non-PPR, PPR and half-PPR rankings to help you win your league.
Throughout the season, I will break down which players our FTN rankers prefer more (or less) than the expert consensus rankings found at FantasyPros. For this article, I will be looking at the half-PPR format.
Our FTN rankers and the ECR are fairly aligned inside the top 12 this week at QB outside a flip at the top, as our rankers prefer Patrick Mahomes to Josh Allen.
The most significant difference is with “Mr. Irrelevant” Brock Purdy, as our FTN rankers are much more in on this week, ranking him inside the top 12 while the ECR has him just inside the top 15.
The most significant difference between the ECR and our FTN ranks is with Brian Robinson and Tyler Allgeier. Both are three spots different, with our rankers favoring Allgeier.
Aaron Jones is ranked significantly higher by our FTN rankers, as they have him as a top-12 option while the ECR does not.
Alvin Kamara is another player our rankers have inside the top 10 that the ECR does not, though they do have him just inside the top 12.
As a result of Aaron Jones being a bit higher, we see our rankers less on Kenneth Walker and Miles Sanders, as they have them one spot lower than the ECR.
The FTN rankers prefer Josh Jacobs this week to Nick Chubb, as they are flipped inside the top 10.
The ECR and our FTN rankers are fairly aligned at WR this week.
The most significant differences are with both Christian Kirk and Zay Jones, as our FTN rankers have them two spots higher than the ECR.
Stefon Diggs and Allen Lazard share a two-spot differential, but this time the ECR favors these two.
We can also see a large number of small differences this week. One of these is Gabe Davis who is a player our rankers are less in on having him outside the top 30.
