It’s hard for me to express just how much I love the Masters, and thanks to Round 3 DFS showdown last week, I now have a $3,333 ticket to use! It’s hard to balance the excitement for a ticket of this size, with the excitement for the tournament, with the knowledge that the most likely outcome is that I won’t even cash. But we have to be OK with that! The absolute worst thing I could do is play a more risk-averse style this week, especially considering how top-heavy the $3,333 tournament is. So the PGA DFS Hot Takes will be as hot as ever.
Course Fit: The 2025 Masters

I always have mixed feelings about Augusta’s CF Model. On the one hand, you guys know I love it when driving pops since I believe driving is the most important part of golf. But we at least get a huge spike in ATG, which we know the field too often overlooks. So all in all, I think we set up well at Augusta.
Hot Takes for the 2025 Masters
1. Xander Schauffele is the best spend-up
Xander Schauffele’s 2025 has been a disappointment so far. He went into the Valspar with injury-related rust and… set a personal record for strokes gained approach in an event. That’s not a bad way to enter the Masters! If you told me in January that we’d get to play a sub-$10k Schauffele at low-ish rostership in good form at the Masters, I would have said you’re insane.
