Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Brandon Pfaadt put together a solid outing against the Oakland Athletics on Sunday. The 25-year-old notched eight strikeouts while allowing only one run over six innings of work in a no-decision. Pfaadt carried a shutout into the fifth inning until Zack Gelof took him deep. This was a nice outing for Pfaadt who has been up-and-down so far this season. He'll take a 4.28 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and 94/26 K/BB ratio into his next start versus the San Diego Padres.

Los Angeles Angels infielder Zach Neto has put together a sneaky solid season through the first half of the 2024 campaign. He continued his impressive season during Sunday's game against the Detroit Tigers. It was a quiet game for Neto until he blasted a three-run home run off right-hander Shelby Miller in the ninth inning. Sadly for the Halos, they weren't able to make the full comeback in this game. Neto has posted 11 home runs and 11 steals through 81 games this season. He's worth a look in fantasy leagues for managers looking infield depth.

Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Joe Ryan was outstanding on the mound during Sunday's game against the Seattle Mariners. Ryan recorded 10 strikeouts as he allowed two runs (one earned) in a no-decision on Sunday. The right-hander gave up six hits and didn't walk any batters during this outing. He was shaky during his last start, but Ryan rebounded nicely on Sunday. He'll look to keep the good times rolling against the Houston Astros prior to the All-Star break.

Texas Rangers outfielder Derek Hill had a huge game on Sunday Night Baseball, going 2-for-4 with two homers and three RBI in an 11-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles. Hill smacked his first longball in the second inning, then went back for more in the fifth. The 28-year-old journeyman has had two monster seasons in the minors, especially this year where he is slashing .350/.415/.631 with 35 runs, eight homers, 17 RBI, and seven steals in just 176 plate appearances. While he has basically no major league track record and is likely only in the majors until Evan Carter returns, he could end up getting decent playing time as long as he keeps hitting. He is someone to keep an eye on in deeper leagues.

Texas Rangers outfielder Wyatt Langford capped off a strong June by hitting for the cycle on Sunday Night Baseball against the Baltimore Orioles. Langford capped off the cycle by hitting a homer in the eighth inning, a moment he surely won't forget. He ended up going 4-for-5 with four RBI and three runs scored. The 22-year-old struggled out of the gate but has seemingly found his footing in June, hitting .309 with 11 runs, three homers, 22 RBI, and six steals. Those who held onto Langford through his slow start and injury are reaping the benefits now, and he should only improve from here.
