It’s Wednesday, and that means it’s time to break out the fantasy football flex rankings for Week 16 of the 2023 NFL season. If you’re new to the concept of flex rankings, these are simply the combined overall rankings for running back, wide receiver, and tight end for each week during the fantasy football season. These are not suggestions for who to start in your flex spots.
This list is our initial rankings, but rankings will change a lot throughout the week. This post will not be updates, so if you want all the latest updates, then be sure to check our staff rankings page. Promo code “RATPACK” gets you a discount on any FTN subscription.
Week 16 Flex Rankings (2023) — Top 100
1. Christian McCaffrey (RB1) vs. BAL – Even in a tough matchup, the historically good season will continue for McCaffrey.
2. CeeDee Lamb (WR1) at MIA – He’s scored nine touchdowns over his last eight games.
3. Kyren Williams (RB2) vs. NO – Williams averages over 26 touches per game since he returned from injured reserve.
4. Tyreek Hill (WR2) vs. DAL – We don’t know if he’ll play yet, but signs are point toward Hill suiting up for this one.
5. Deebo Samuel (WR3) vs. BAL – Samuel has been arguable the hottest receiver in fantasy over the last month.
6. A.J. Brown (WR4) vs. NYG – Last week wasn’t fun for the Eagles offense, but Brown gets a tasty matchup against the Giants.
7. Rachaad White (RB3) vs. JAC – Few running backs have performed better over the second half of the season.

12. James Cook (RB6) at LAC – Cook has exploded with top-five weekly finishes in each of his last two games.
13. Tony Pollard (RB7) at MIA – Like the rest of the Cowboys’ offense, Pollard didn’t get it done last week. But he remains a high volume RB1 option.
14. Mike Evans (WR7) vs. JAC – Evans’ Renaissance season continues against the Jags this week.
15. Stefon Diggs (WR8) at LAC – Sure, the numbers weren’t good last week, but the Bills barely threw the ball against Dallas. That won’t be the case against the Chargers’ putrid pass defense.
16. Raheem Mostert (RB8) vs. DAL – He’s sitting on 20 touchdowns and counting.
17. DJ Moore (WR9) vs. ARI – Moore rebounds this week with a fantastic matchup on tap.
18. Bijan Robinson (RB9) vs. IND – I know. I know. But this is a great matchup where Robinson “should” perform well.
19. Travis Kelce (TE1) vs. LV – Kelce bounces back against a suspect Raiders defense on Christmas.
20. Joe Mixon (RB10) at PIT – Mixon has found the end zone in seven of his last eight games.

24. Ezekiel Elliott (RB13) at DEN – Elliott didn’t get it done last week, but he has the best matchup on the board for running backs.
25. Michael Pittman (WR11) at ATL – We aren’t sure if Pittman can clear protocol, but this is where he’ll rank if he does.
