It is that time of year again. Lineups need to be set, and with that comes some tough decisions. As we head into Week 15 and the fantasy playoffs, the stakes get higher. This week’s start/sit decisions are that much more critical.
One of the most popular tools here at FTN is our fantasy football rankings. Each week, we bring you non-PPR, PPR and half-PPR rankings to help you win your league.
Throughout the season, I will break down which players our FTN rankers prefer more (or less) than the expert consensus rankings found at FantasyPros. For this article, I will be looking at the half-PPR format.
In the most significant difference between our FTN rankers and the ECR, we see our FTN rankers favoring Daniel Jones – having him inside the top 15 while the ECR does not.
The most significant differences between the ECR and our FTN ranks is between Devin Singletary and D’Andre Swift, who are separated by five spots.
Singletary is favored by our FTN rankers, as they have him closer to a top-24 option while the ECR has him as barely a top-36 option.
Swift, on the other hand, is favored by the ECR, as they have him as a top-24 option while FTN has him outside the top 24.
Alvin Kamara is another player who our FTN rankers have lower than the ECR. We have him outside the top 12, while the ECR has him inside the top 10.
James Conner is a player FTN has inside the top 10, while the ECR has him outside that range.
Jerick McKinnon is also a player our rankers have decently higher than the ECR. We have him closer to the top 30, while the ECR have him just inside the top 36.
The most significant difference here is with Marquise Brown. Our FTN rankers have him six spots lower than the ECR. His teammate DeAndre Hopkins is also a player who our rankers have lower than the ECR, as we have him outside the top 12.
FTN has Christian Kirk outside the top 20 this week, while the ECR has him inside the top 20.
FTN has Chris Godwin inside the top 15 this week, while the ECR has him outside of it.
FTN has Donovan Peoples-Jones inside the top 30 coming off back-to-back top-30 finishes, while the ECR has him outside it.
