Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte is back in the starting lineup for Saturday night's tilt against the Philadelphia Phillies. Marte had gotten a breather in Friday night's game and will look to stay hot against Phillies starter Aaron Nola. The switch hitter has turned the jets on as of late, hitting for a 1.143 OPS since the All-Star break and has put himself on the outside of the NL MVP conversation. His offensive production has led Arizona to a 15-5 record since the break, putting them just 3.5 GB of the Dodgers in the NL West while they also hold onto a 2.5 game lead in the wild card race. Fantasy managers should ensure Marte is back in their starting lineups. DFS managers should know that Marte is 4-12 against Nola with three extra-base hits in his career against the Phillies starter.
Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte is out of the starting lineup ahead of Friday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. This appears to be a routine rest day for Marte after he went hitless with three strikeouts during Thursday's contest. In his absence, Kevin Newman will bat ninth and cover second base against right-hander Zack Wheeler. Fantasy managers who have Marte rostered should adjust their lineups ahead of first pitch.
Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte blasted a solo home run, his 28th of the season, Monday night in a 7-6 extra-inning victory versus the Cleveland Guardians. Marte wasted no time on Monday chasing the first pitch of the game from Logan Allen and dropping it over the fence. The switch-hitting veteran's power surge continues as tonight's home run makes it 11 long balls in the last month. He is also well on pace to break his single-season career-high in home runs (32) and RBI (92). The 30-year-old is in the midst of a career year and was undoubtedly one of the best bargains in fantasy drafts this season.
Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte continues to swing a red-hot bat and has now homered in three straight games. Marte played another big role in Wednesday's victory versus the Kansas City Royals, where he went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer. Marte not only has been having a very good season, he has been absolutely on fire over the past with a .360 batting average to go along with seven homers, 21 RBI and three stolen bases. Not that managers needed to know this, but Marte should continue to be started on all days that he is in the lineup. He will look to homer in his fourth straight game when the Diamondbacks return home on Friday to face Luis L. Ortiz and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte continued his hot hitting in Tuesday's victory versus the Kansas City Royals. Marte went 2-for-3 with a walk, three runs and a two-run homer to continue his successful season. Not only has Marte been having a great season, he has been red-hot over the last, hitting .354 with six homers, 18 RBI and three stolen bases to go along with a shiny 1.064 OPS. The 30-year-old seems to fly under the radar every season and managers have to be happy with the results they continue to get from the veteran. Marte doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime in the near future as he will face the Royals once again on Wednesday.
