Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suarez demolished an 83-mile-per-hour changeup from Andrew Heaney in the third inning on Monday night, sending it 433 feet deep into the night over the left-center field wall. Suarez also walked and scored to finish the night 1-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI. The 33-year-old veteran is up to 15 homers on the season in just 54 games played. He has hit 30+ homers in three of the last four seasons but is well ahead of that pace while hitting .232 with a .356 wOBA and 41 RBI for the Diamondbacks this season. He has continued to provide excellent power from the hot corner this season, and he is a solid fantasy option at third base as long as your team can deal with his low batting average.

Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suarez will get a day of rest in Game 2 of the series against the division-rival Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday at Dodger Stadium. Shortstop prospect Jordan Lawlar will make the start at third and will bat ninth against Dodgers right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto. It will be Suarez's second day off of the season. Although the 33-year-old Venezuelan continues to strike out at a high clip, he's produced big power numbers so far in 2025 and ranks tied for fifth in baseball in home runs (14), tied for fourth in RBI (38) and tied for 21st in runs scored (30) while hitting just .215 (37-for-172). He has gone 16-for-67 (.239) with four homers and 18 RBI in 18 games so far in May. Lawlar has lots of long-term fantasy upside as Arizona's shortstop of the future, but he's still searching for his first MLB hit in his fourth game with the Snakes.

Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suarez went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI, three total runs, and two walks in Friday's 14-11 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Suarez put the Diamondbacks on top 3-1 with a two-run shot off Dodgers pitcher Roki Sasaki in the bottom of the first inning. His home run traveled 423 feet with an exit velocity of 108 mph. It was his first home run since his four-homer game back on April 26th. With the bases loaded, Suarez walked to log his third RBI of the game. The 33-year-old is starting to heat up, slashing .320/.430/.520 with a home run, five RBI, and five runs over his 30 plate appearances. Overall, Suarez is slashing .210/.308/.500 with 11 home runs, 26 RBI, 24 runs, and a stolen base over 39 games in 2025. Fantasy managers should continue to start Suarez in all leagues while he's having a strong May.
