The 24-year-old broke his wrist during a meeting with the Suns on New Year's Day and hasn't been active since then. Before Brown went down with the ailment, he had played sparingly, so his return isn't expected to make much of an impact for fantasy managers, even with Deandre Ayton (hand) absent.

Fantasy managers may want to hold off on picking Brown up until his minute situation is figured out moving forward.

Surgery is planned for this week, and a timeline for a return will be determined once the procedure is completed. It's rough timing for the Blazers, who continue to be without starting big man Deandre Ayton (knee). Portland is going to need Jerami Grant to handle more playing time at the five for the time being, while Duop Reath is representing the most popular waiver-wire add in Yahoo fantasy leagues on Monday. In eight games without Ayton this season, Reath is supplying 12.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.8 three-pointers per game and dropped a 15-point, 13-board double-double in 41 minutes during Sunday's road win over the Brooklyn Nets.
