Tim Boyle Released By Miami

Quarterback Tim Boyle was released by the Miami Dolphins on Friday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The 30-year-old operated as the No.3 QB through the early part of the season. However, the Dolphins recently brought in Tyler Huntley, which pushes Boyle to the No.4 spot on the depth chart. This move also suggests that Skylar Thompson (ribs) could be cleared to return this weekend and serve as Huntley's backup. Boyle made a brief appearance this season in Week 3 against Seattle and went 7-for-13 with 79 yards and no scores. Last season with the New York Jets, Boyle went 48-for-77 with 360 yards and a 1:4 TD:INT ratio. Fantasy managers in superflex leagues should drop Boyle from their roster and instead look to stash Thompson, as he should operate as the No.2 QB for the time being in Miami.

Wan'Dale Robinson Cleared To Face The Seahawks

New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (heel) is not listed on Friday's final injury report and has been cleared to play in Week 5 on Sunday at Lumen Field against the Seattle Seahawks. Robinson was limited in practices on Wednesday and Thursday but is fine to suit up and should be quarterback Daniel Jones' top aerial target with rookie Malik Nabers (concussion) ruled out. Running back Devin Singletary (groin) is doubtful to play, so the Giants will be without two of their best playmakers in a tough road tilt. Expect the G-Men to have to throw plenty in this one. Because of that, Robinson feels like a lock for double-digit targets against Seattle. The 23-year-old has already seen double-digit targets in two of his four games and had a season-high 11 receptions for a season-high 71 yards in the Week 4 loss to the division-rival Dallas Cowboys. Robinson is a solid flex play with upside for more.

Devin Singletary Listed As Doubtful For Week 5

New York Giants running back Devin Singletary (groin) is currently listed as doubtful for the Week 5 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The good news is that Singletary returned to practice on Friday after sitting out the first two practices of the week. Sadly, it doesn't seem like it was too encouraging of a practice considering he's unlikely to suit up this weekend. His absence would likely mean that Tyrone Tracy Jr. would be in line to see extended run. Tracy has rushed for 29 yards on 12 attempts in his limited role this season. The Giants will likely see some type of committee role between Tracy and Eric Gray.

Seahawks D/ST Should Have A Nice Day Against Giants

The Seattle Seahawks defense/special teams is headed into a matchup against the New York Giants in Week 5. The Giants will be playing without star rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers (concussion) who has meant everything to this offense. Running back Devin Singletary (groin) may not play in this game either, however, he did manage to return to practice on Friday. Without either of those players, the Giants are left with very little playmakers on offense and a shaky offensive line. The revamped Seahawks defensive front should have a field day getting to quarterback Daniel Jones in this game. As such, they should have plenty of sacks and could force several turnovers as a result of the pressure. While this squad was annihilated by the Detroit Lions in Week 4, they should absolutely be in your lineup in Week 5.

Devin Singletary Will Practice On Friday

New York Giants running back Devin Singletary (groin) will practice on Friday, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN. This is a great sign as Singletary did not practice earlier this week. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his status during Friday's practice as it should provide clarity on his availability for Sunday's game. Through his first four games as a New York Giant, the 27-year-old has logged at least 40 snaps in every game and has been deployed as a three-down back. He has seen double-digit rushing attempts in every game and received at least four targets in two out of the four games. If the former Buffalo Bill is able to suit up, he should be viewed as a low-end RB2. If not, rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. is worth considering as an upside flex option in deeper formats.
