Darius Slayton Not Expected To Make Trip To Germany

New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (concussion) is not expected to travel with the team for the Week 10 game against the Carolina Panthers in Germany. Needless to say, he is trending toward being inactive after suffering a concussion last Sunday. In his absence, sophomore third-round wideout Jalin Hyatt should see more action, but he is not on the fantasy football radar. Malik Nabers and Wan'Dale Robinson should continue to operate as Daniel Jones' No. 1 and No. 2 targets in the passing game for the international NFC showdown.

Darius Slayton Does Not Practice, In Danger Of Missing Week 10

Per New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll, wide receiver Darius Slayton (concussion) was tagged with a DNP Wednesday and might not travel with the team to Germany. Pat Leonard of NYDN Sports reported the news. Slayton sustained a concussion late in the Giants' 27-22 loss to the Washington commanders in Week 9. It's unfortunate news for the sixth-year wideout, who has been a valuable deep threat for New York this season. Second-year wide receiver Jalin Hyatt figures to take over some snaps if the former Auburn Tiger can't clear the league's concussion protocol, with Ihmir Smith-Marsette working in behind him. Fellow WRs Malik Nabers and Wan'Dale Robinson project to see an uptick in usage absence.

Giants Designate Graham Gano To Return To Practice

The New York Giants designated kicker Graham Gano (hamstring) to return to practice on Wednesday and opened his 21-day window to return from Injured Reserve. It's good news for Gano, but it doesn't necessarily mean he'll be activated and kick in Week 10 when the team takes on the Carolina Panthers this Sunday in Germany. The 37-year-old veteran landed on IR on Sept. 17 with a right-hamstring strain and has only kicked in two games this year. Jude McAtamney served as the team's kicker in the Week 9 loss to the division-rival Washington Commanders after fill-in Greg Joseph (abdomen) was placed on IR last Saturday. How Gano looks in practices this week will determine of the G-Men feel comfortable bringing him back against Carolina. If Gano needs another week to recover, McAtameny figures to make a second straight start.

Steelers Interested In Darius Slayton Before Landing Mike Williams

The Pittsburgh Steelers were interested in trading for New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton ahead of the NFL trade deadline, but the organization sent a fifth-round pick to acquire New York Jets wideout Mike Williams instead. According to Jeremy Fowler, the Giants value Slayton and likely had a higher asking price or were not interested in trading him altogether. It appears Slayton could remain with the G-Men despite trade rumors circulating. The 27-year-old has racked up 32 receptions for 469 yards and one touchdown in 2024. Assuming he remains in New York, he'll continue to be a low-end flex play in favorable matchups for WRs. However, Malik Nabers and Wan'Dale Robinson have been the clear No. 1 and No. 2 options in Daniel Jones' passing game.

Broncos Open To Trading Greg Dulcich

The Denver Broncos have been open to trading tight end Greg Dulcich. We wonder if there is any interest around the league in Dulcich, a former third-rounder in 2022 out of UCLA. Dulcich has been very injury-prone early in his NFL career and has been a healthy scratch for the Broncos since Week 5. In the first four games of the season, he did very little, catching five of his 12 targets for 28 scoreless yards. The 24-year-old just hasn't been a big part of head coach Sean Payton's offense and is currently behind both Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull on the team's TE depth chart. In two-plus NFL seasons, Dulcich has 41 receptions for 464 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games played (10 starts). He will remain well off the fantasy radar in all leagues unless he's traded before Tuesday's deadline to a team that will utilize him as a pass-catcher.
