Downs, who had been the Colts' most reliable pass catcher over the course of the season, tied Michael Pittman Jr. for a team-high seven targets, but couldn't translate it into production. Richardson completed only 39.3% of his passes (11-for-28), so there wasn't much fantasy goodness to be had and blame should probably be placed on the QB and some untimely penalties rather than on Downs. The 23-year-old also exited briefly due to a shoulder injury but was able to return shortly thereafter. The Patriots pose less of a challenge in Week 13 and Downs will have a good chance to get back on track despite Richardson's deficiencies. Keep an eye on his practice status throughout the week, as the former third-round draft pick likely slots in as a WR3 if healthy.

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor was held to just 35 scoreless yards on 11 carries in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions, and he was not targeted in the passing game. The former second-round pick hasn't really been involved in the passing game anyway, but with Anthony Richardson being reinserted under center, the mobile quarterback has negatively impacted Taylor's role in the offense. Richardson totaled 61 yards on 10 carries on Sunday, and last week, it was Richardson who scored twice on the ground -- not Taylor. It hasn't helped that the Colts have played the Jets and the Lions, two teams that have been good against the run. Things should get a bit easier next week against the Patriots, but with the reemergence of Richardson's legs and with Taylor a non-factor through the air, the 25-year-old will likely get bounced from the ranks of RB1 status.

No other Colt receiver had more than three catches or 39 yards. It was an encouraging performance on a day where Anthony Richardson completed just 11 passes on 28 attempts. It was the second consecutive week in which the 27-year-old recorded at least seven targets and five catches with Richardson under center. The Colts will take on the Patriots in Week 13 who just allowed Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill to total 192 yards receiving on 13 catches, so Pittman Jr. has a chance to keep the momentum going so long as Richardson keeps feeding him targets.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson reverted to his inefficient ways on Sunday in a 24-6 loss to the Lions. A week after completing 66.7% of his passes and accounting for three touchdowns (one pass, two rush), the 22-year-old completed just 11 of 28 pass attempts (39.3%) for 172 yards and no TDs. He added 10 rushes for 61 yards, but no scores there either. On the bright side, the second-year pro did not turn the ball over at all. It's the third time in his last four starts that he's failed to complete more than 11 passes or surpass 175 yards, and the former first-round draft pick has thrown just two TD passes during that time, so managers are relying on rushing TDs which makes him a risky play from week-to-week. Week 13 brings a matchup with the Patriots who just allowed Tua Tagovailoa to shred them for 317 yards and four TDs, but it's hard to envision Richardson having that kind of success.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, the Las Vegas Raiders could be in the market to sign quarterback Daniel Jones. The signal-caller, who was recently released by the New York Giants, is expected to clear waivers and hit free agency. The Ravens, Vikings, and 49ers have been a few teams rumored to be interested in his services, although he'd presumably be a backup. But with the Raiders quarterback struggles this season, Jones could find his way under center, even if it's only for a few games. He would also add value moving ahead if the team adds a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft. Still, that's assuming Jones signs. Either way, there may be a lot of updates in this scenario in the next few days. For now, he isn't worth a spot on fantasy rosters.
