Rest and rehab was prescribed for Richardson, and he won't have to go under the knife again as he prepares to continue the QB competition with Daniel Jones. The 23-year-old former first-rounder missed OTAs and minicamp with right-shoulder inflammation, but he should be back on the field this summer as he looks to win the starting gig under center. Richardson is going to need to stay healthy and improve as a passer in order to beat out Jones, and if he does, his elite rushing prowess will make him a risk/reward QB2 with upside in fantasy drafts this fall.

Richardson could still be ready for Week 1 this fall, but right now, his injury increases the chances that Daniel Jones will open the 2025 season as Indy's starting QB.

Nothing is decided yet, but Jones is gaining momentum because of this. The former Florida Gator is losing steam in dynasty/keeper formats.
