Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham is coming off his best season since entering the league as the No. 1 overall pick in 2021. He appeared in 62 games, averaging 22.7 points and 7.5 assists. But the 22-year-old still has things he'd like to improve throughout the offseason, specifically his conditioning. His ballhandling is also something he vowed to focus on. Cunningham has averaged 3.5 turnovers during his career, so fantasy managers would undoubtedly appreciate an improvement in that area. In addition, while his 62 appearances were an upgrade from the 2022-23 campaign, his inability to stay healthy over the years will negatively impact his fantasy stock until he proves he can stay on the floor.

Brooklyn Nets guard Dennis Schroder (Achilles) won't play on Sunday versus the 76ers. The journeyman has played well since his trade to Brooklyn ahead of the deadline, averaging 14.6 points and 6.0 assists while shooting a career-high 41.2% from behind the arc. Schroder wants to remain a Net, so this may not be his final game with the team. But with Dennis Smith Jr. (hip) also sidelined for the regular season-finale, Jacob Gilyard may draw another start. However, Lonnie Walker IV, who had 15 points in Friday's loss to the New York Knicks, should be the guy to target for DFS purposes.

Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. This will be the seventh straight game he has missed because of a left knee injury. It would be surprising if the young star suits up again this season, as the Pistons only have one more game to play on Sunday versus the San Antonio Spurs. Expect Marcus Sasser and Jaden Ivey to lead the backcourt, while Evan Fournier and Malachi Flynn will continue to receive more playing time.

Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren (back) is out for Friday's contest against the Dallas Mavericks. The 20-year-old put up a terrific game on Thursday versus the Chicago Bulls, scoring 20 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. However, the Pistons will let their young center rest and recover from low back spasms. The Pistons sit in last place in the Eastern Conference and do not have much to play for as the season winds down. With Duren sidelined, expect James Wiseman to take on a much bigger role.

Brooklyn Nets guard Dennis Schroder (Achilles) won't play on Friday against the Knicks. The veteran has played well since getting moved to Brooklyn. However, the team has nothing left to play for, so Schroder may be done for the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign. With Dennis Smith Jr. (hip) also out, Jacob Gilyard (hip) could slide into the starting lineup if he's cleared to play. But the offense should continue to run through Cam Thomas and Mikal Bridges regardless of who's at the one.
