Detroit Pistons guard Tim Hardaway Jr. (back) will be able to return to the floor for the Pistons on Saturday night when they host the Raptors. Hardaway was originally listed as questionable after being a late scratch for Thursday's contest due to back tightness. He had been starting for Detroit and getting a little more work with Jaden Ivey (leg) out. The veteran averaged 13.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.4 three-pointers in 31 minutes in his last five games before being sidelined. His return will move Malik Beasley to the second unit while Ron Holland II and Marcus Sasser will likely have less work off the bench as well.

He was a late addition to the injury report due to a back issue, and the injury will keep the veteran sniper sidelined on Thursday. Ausar Thompson (illness) will take over Hardaway Jr.'s spot in the starting unit. Thompson has been battling an illness lately, missing two games, and might not be at his best on Thursday.

The veteran guard will make his return to the court after missing each of the last three games due to a head laceration. Malik Beasley has been seeing an increase in playing time with Hardaway sidelined. Beasley has scored 20 points or more in each of the last four games, so he should still remain a key piece of the rotation. Hardaway hasn't done enough on the court to warrant rostering in most fantasy formats but he might have some deep league appeal.
