There are only a couple of FAAB weeks remaining this fantasy baseball season. The majority of fantasy teams don’t have much left in their remaining budget so digging deep and adding multiple contingency bids becomes more important down the stretch.
All of the categories are much closer than you’re accustomed to with only two weeks left in the season. Usually the stats have been accumulated for nearly six months. This time it has been less than two months. Don’t think you’re out of it even if you’re stuck in the middle of the pack. Two strong weeks and you could make significant gains in the standings.
Schedule
Note: The amount of games played can change due to COVID-19. MLB has been shuffling the schedule around. The San Francisco Giants had a positive test Friday, resulting in some weekend postponements and possibly a weird schedule for them and the San Diego Padres this week.

Seven games

Pitching is tough to come by this time of year and the two-start pitchers available continue to destroy ratios, causing much more harm than good. If you’re stuck in a hard place, just add a solid middle reliever or setup man pitching in a doubleheader. That has been a successful way to land a cheap save or two throughout the week.
