Baltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander had a big night at the plate in Wednesday evening's win over the hosting division-rival Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre, smacking two home runs with three RBI. Before hitting a solo homer to left field in the eighth inning to increase the Orioles' lead to 5-3, Santander hit a two-run blast to right-center field off Blue Jays right-hander Bowden Francis to give Baltimore a 2-0 lead over Toronto in the first frame on Wednesday. The 29-year-old All-Star switch-hitting slugger has been one of fantasy's most consistent options all season long, and since June 1, Santander is batting .278 (65-for-234) with 25 round-trippers, 49 RBI, and 43 runs scored in his last 59 games.
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander continued his career power season in Monday's 6-2 win over the Blue Jays. Santander went 2-for-3 with a double, a solo home run, two RBI, and a walk. The 29-year-old took Brendon Little deep in the fifth inning, hitting an opposite-field liner just off the top of the right-field padding for his 31st HR of the season. Santander has almost matched his career-high HR count already and is slashing .246/.314/.536 with 62 runs scored and 72 RBI in 437 plate appearances. He should continue to be a fantasy lineup staple while hitting in the middle of one of baseball's best lineups.
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander went 3-for-5 with two long balls on Friday evening to power the Orioles to a victory on Friday evening. The switch-hitter went deep for the first time in the fifth inning to score Gunnar Henderson. Later, in the seventh, he hit his second long ball to score Adley Rutschman and Gunnar Henderson once again. The 29-year-old has posted a .242/.305/.521 line with 28 home runs, 63 RBI, and a 27:72 BB:K ratio. Santander is always worth a look in DFS formats as he usually has several scoring chances every game, batting in the heart of one of the best lineups in baseball.
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander opened the second half with a bang in Friday night's romp of the defending-champion Texas Rangers in Arlington, smashing two home runs and piling up five RBI in the blowout win. After launching a two-run homer off Rangers right-hander Nathan Eovaldi to right field to increase the Orioles' lead to 6-1 in the fifth inning, Santander hit a three-run jack down the right-field line to extend Baltimore's lead to 9-1 in the seventh frame to get the rout fully underway on Friday. The 29-year-old All-Star slugger is putting together a big July, batting .314 (16-for-51) with four long balls, two doubles, one triple, and eight RBI through 13 outings this month.
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander went 2-for-3 with a double and his 22nd home run of the season in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Rangers. The 29-year-old also walked once, collected two RBI, and scored twice in the contest. Santander is no stranger to the long ball, but he is experiencing a power surge this month, belting 13 of his 22 home runs in June alone. The switch-hitter is having one of his best seasons yet, posting a .233-22-55-46-0 line with a .348 wOBA and 129 wRC+. He's striking out much less than last season (23.2% vs. 18.2%) and currently has a career-high Contact% of 82.4% to go along with a 10.9% Barrel%, which makes his production sustainable (although don't expect 13 home runs per month).
