Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's Cactus League victory against the rival San Francisco Giants. Hernandez has been off to a hot start this spring with his third club in three seasons. The 31-year-old is now hitting .414 with one homer and four RBI over 29 at-bats. Apart from a shortened 2020 season, Hernandez hasn't hit less than 22 homeruns since 2018. With the Dodgers huge offseason, his signing may have flown under the radar, but managers should not forget to consider the outfielder as a solid OF2/3 option in mixed leagues.

Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and walk in Tuesday's Grapefruit League matchup versus the Baltimore Orioles. It would be the outfielder's first homer of the spring. The 29-year-old has been ice-cold this spring, hitting .100 with a homer and three RBI in 20 at-bats, but fantasy managers should have little to no concern with him heading into the regular season. Arozarena is coming off of a well-rounded 2023 campaign with 23 homers, 83 RBI, 22 stolen bases and a .254 batting average. He remains a valuable No. 1 outfielder in most fantasy formats going into Opening Day.

Cincinnati Reds second baseman Matt McLain (oblique) said Tuesday that he will "totally" be ready to start the 2024 regular season healthy after missing most of spring training with an oblique injury. The 24-year-old, who made his Cactus League debut on Sunday, has the support of manager David Bell, who said Tuesday, "I am confident he will be ready to go." McLain will look to pick up where he left off in 2023, when he slashed .290/.357/.507 with 16 home runs, 65 runs scored, 50 RBI, and 14 stolen bases in 403 plate appearances.

Baltimore Orioles second/third baseman Jordan Westburg had a nice game at the plate in Tuesday's 12-8 Grapefruit League win over the Rays. The 25-year-old went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run. Westburg has put together a solid showing offensively this spring, batting .286 with two HR and five RBI in 28 at-bats. The O's have a ton of young depth, so while he may not be a lock to start the season with the team, he put forth a respectable .260/.311/.404 slash line in 228 plate appearances in 2023. Whether he starts the season with the O's will of course impact his fantasy value, but he will be worth a look if he does end up starting in one of baseball's best lineups.

Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Tuesday that starting pitcher Colin Rea will start the season in the team's rotation. The 33-year-old made 26 appearances (22 starts) for the Brewers in 2023, going 6-6 with a 4.55 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 21.3% strikeout rate. Rea has looked sharp in his eight innings of work this spring and the Brewers currently do not have much pitching depth. While he may not hold much fantasy value in roto leagues, he could be a deep points-league consideration in favorable matchups.
