Minnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa is getting a day of rest for Sunday's series finale against the visiting San Francisco Giants at Target Field. Brooks Lee will make the start at shortstop and will hit cleanup against Giants right-hander Landen Roupp. Correa will be getting his first day off since April 16. In 21 games since then, he has gone 23-for-82 (.280) with two home runs, three doubles, nine RBI and eight runs scored in 86 plate appearances. It's been nice to see from the 30-year-old Puerto Rican veteran after a slow start to the year, but he's still slashing only .231/.270/.329 with an ugly .598 OPS, two homers, 13 RBI and 13 runs scored in 2025. Lee, the former eighth overall pick in 2022 out of Cal Poly, has been mediocre at the plate so far this year with a .232 average (19-for-82), two homers and seven RBI. The 24-year-old switch-hitter has never faced Petty.

Houston Astros left fielder Jose Altuve (hamstring) is out of the team's starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the visiting Cincinnati Reds at Daikin Park. Zach Dezenzo is starting in left field and batting sixth against Reds right-handed rookie Chase Petty. Fantasy managers shouldn't be all that surprised that Altuve is out on Sunday after he was forced to leave Saturday's contest early with tightness in his hamstring. It's unclear if the 35-year-old veteran's injury is serious enough to land him on the injured list, but fantasy managers will want to check back on Monday to see if he's active in the series opener against the Kansas City Royals. The nine-time All-Star and former MVP hasn't homered since April 28 and has gone 6-for-30 (.200) in eight games so far in May. Dezenzo will be playing in just his 41st MLB game after debuting in 2024. He's 16-for-60 (.267) so far in 2025 with only one homer and eight RBI.

Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager is not in the team's starting lineup for Sunday's series finale in Detroit against the Tigers at Comerica Park. Ezequiel Duran will start at the 6 and hit ninth for the Rangers against Tigers right-hander Reese Olson. Seager missed Thursday and Friday due to a minor right-hamstring injury, but he returned with a bang on Saturday against Detroit, going 3-for-4 with two home runs, a double and three RBI in the 10-5 win. The Rangers appear to be playing things safe with the 31-year-old veteran on Sunday, and he should be back in there for Monday's series opener against the Colorado Rockies. Duran makes for a very low-upside DFS play in the nine-hole for the Rangers for Sunday's slate of action. The 25-year-old Dominican has just one hit in his 16 at-bats this season and has one hit in his four career at-bats against Olson.

Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. (knee) remains out of the starting nine on Sunday when the White Sox face the Miami Marlins. Robert was unable to play to suit up on Saturday due to this injury as well. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next game on Tuesday evening against the Cincinnati Reds. Over his last 14 games, Robert has held a .265/.357/.469 slash line with one double, three home runs, 10 RBI, and eight stolen bases. With Robert sitting out, Michael Taylor will cover center field and bat in the nine-hole. Given Robert's five-category upside, he remains a strong option in all standard formats going forward. This afternoon, the White Sox carry decent streaming appeal in DFS, facing Sandy Alcantara, who enters this game with an 8.42 ERA.

Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Junior Caminero, infielder/outfielder Christopher Morel and catcher Ben Rortvedt will all start on the bench for Sunday's series finale against the visiting Milwaukee Brewers and right-hander Chad Patrick. Jose Caballero is starting at third and batting sixth, Travis Jankowski is in right field and batting seventh, and Danny Jansen is doing the catching and batting ninth. Caminero will take a seat despite holding a current five-game hitting streak in which he's gone 6-for-18 with a homer, three RBI, a steal and a run scored. The 21-year-old will be back in there for Tuesday's series opener against the division-rival Toronto Blue Jays. Morel will sit for the second straight day against a righty and may be in a platoon in Tampa's outfield after starting the year with a poor .223/.310/.369 slash line in 103 at-bats.
