Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Junior Caminero has put together an incredible outing at the plate during their series against the Houston Astros. Caminero collected three hits, one homer, and knocked in six runs during the series opener. On Saturday, Caminero went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two home runs, and five RBI in the blowout victory. He smacked three homers and 11 RBI so far during this four-game series. Caminero was swinging the bat well before this series and needs to be rostered and started in basically all fantasy formats.

Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Junior Caminero went 3-for-6 with a home run and six RBI in Thursday's 13-3 win against the Houston Astros. The righty slugger added a single, a double, and two runs scored. Caminero's homer -- his eleventh of the year -- was a three-run blast, leaving the bat at 103.5 MPH off reliever Bryan King that gave Tampa Bay a five-run lead in the top of the seventh. However, that wasn't his hardest hit ball of the day. That came an inning later when he doubled in Josh Lowe and Brandon Lowe (111.5 MPH). The 21-year-old has registered five multi-hit efforts in his last seven outings with three homers in the stretch -- and two in as many days. He has improved overall in 2025, but with five of his 11 doubles coming over the last six days, it appears he's beginning to heat up.

Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Junior Caminero hit a three-run home run in the first inning of Saturday's game against the Blue Jays, one of only three hits the team would collect on the day, but it would prove to be enough to win, with the Rays taking the matchup 3-1. Caminero was in a 4-for-31 (.129) funk over his last eight games heading into the weekend series, but is 3-for-6 against Toronto with a double and a home run, so perhaps he's about to go on a bit of a run here. His home run had an exit velocity of 104.8, however, his groundout in the sixth inning was the second-hardest hit ball in the game, registering at 111.3 off the bat. The 21-year-old is now hitting .239 with nine home runs, 23 RBI, 21 runs scored, and three stolen bases through 47 games, and will face off with Chris Bassitt on Sunday, whom he is 1-for-3 off of in his career.
