Chicago White Sox manager Will Venable said that outfielder Luis Robert Jr. (knee) is dealing with knee soreness, which is why he's out of the starting lineup for the second straight day in Wednesday's series finale versus the New York Mets at Citi Field. The good news, though, is that Venable said Robert will likely be back for Friday's series opener against the Baltimore Orioles. The team has a scheduled day off for travel on Thursday. Michael Taylor will start in center field again on Wednesday and bat ninth against Mets right-hander Griffin Canning. Robert is hitting under .200 on the year so far with only five home runs, but he's also contributed 20 RBI, 24 runs scored and a league-leading 21 stolen bases in 51 games played. Hopefully, his knee injury won't slow him down on the base paths. Taylor is also hitting under .200 and will be a low-upside DFS crapshoot on Wednesday.

Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. will head to the bench ahead of Tuesday's game against the New York Mets. This appears to be a routine rest day for Robert who has started in 13 straight games. It has been an ugly start to the season for Robert who is slashing .191/.277/.309 through basically the first two months of the season. The only bright spot is the fact that Robert has 21 stolen bases, which is currently the most in the American League. In his absence, Michael A. Taylor will cover center field and bat ninth against right-hander Tylor Megill on Tuesday.

Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. did a little bit of everything during Saturday's game against the Texas Rangers. Robert has been off to an ugly start to the season, but maybe this good performance will help him get back on track. On Saturday, Robert went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, one RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base in the win. The 27-year-old has struggled with the bat, but he's currently tied for first place in steals with Bobby Witt Jr., so at least Robert has that going for him. Honestly, the steal numbers are really the only thing keeping Robert relevant in fantasy leagues right now.
