Corey Seager Not Past His Hamstring Injury

According to the Dallas Morning News' Evan Grant, the Texas Rangers will have shortstop Corey Seager (hamstring) re-evaluated on Monday after his balky hamstring got tight on his swings in the 10-5 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Saturday night. Seager missed Thursday and Friday due to his ongoing hamstring issue, but he returned on Saturday to go 3-for-4 with two home runs, a double and three RBI, making this even more frustrating for his fantasy managers. Seager is out of the lineup for the series finale against the Tigers on Sunday and probably won't be able to play in Monday's series opener against the Colorado Rockies, either. Having already gone on the injured list with a hamstring injury this year, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him headed back to the IL. Josh Smith would most likely pick up most of the starts at the 6 if Seager goes back on the shelf.

Isaac Collins Sitting Again On Sunday

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Isaac Collins will start Sunday's series finale against the hosting Tampa Bay Rays on the bench for the second time in the weekend series. The left-handed-hitting Jake Bauers will start in left field for the Brew Crew and will hit seventh against Rays right-hander Drew Rasmussen. Collins, who hits from both sides of the plate, has gone hitless in his last three games and has gone 4-for-21 (.190) with five walks and nine strikeouts in eight games played in May. The 27-year-old could lose more playing time to Bauers against right-handed pitchers after starting the year hitting .237/.338/.356 with a homer, two RBI, three steals and seven runs scored. Bauers has been slightly better with a .250/.345/.479 slash line, three homers, 11 RBI, two steals and seven runs. In five career at-bats against Rasmussen, he's also hit .400 with an .800 OPS.

Oneil Cruz Out On Sunday With Back Injury

Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Oneil Cruz (back) is out of the team's starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the visiting Atlanta Braves at PNC Park. Alexander Canario is getting the start in center field and will bat sixth against Braves left-hander Chris Sale. Cruz will take a seat on Sunday after being forced from Saturday's contest in the ninth inning with lower-back tightness. For now, fantasy managers should consider the 26-year-old to be day-to-day and check back for more updates. It remains to be seen if he'll be available to return for Monday's series opener versus the New York Mets on the road. If Cruz is forced to miss significant time, Canario and Ji Hwan Bae could share playing time in center field for Pittsburgh. Canario is hitting .146 (7-for-48) on the year with two home runs and three RBI and should be avoided in fantasy on Sunday against last year's National League Cy Young winner.

Dane Myers Not In Sunday's Lineup

Miami Marlins outfielder Dane Myers is not in Sunday's lineup when the Marlins conclude a series against the Chicago White Sox on Sunday afternoon. Myers has been in the starting nine in each of the past eight games. During this stretch, the 29-year-old has been swinging a hot bat, posting a strong .308/.379/.462 slash line with one double, one home run, and four stolen bases. Through 29 games this season, the 29-year-old has posted an impressive .337/.375/.482 slash line with three round-trippers and seven stolen bases. Under the hood, he has generated an elite .397 xwOBA and a .343 xBA, which are both well above the average of the marks. This afternoon, Kyle Stowers will shift to center field and bat in the five-hole. Stowers is worth a look in DFS facing Sean Burke, as he enters this game with a 4.35 ERA.

Anthony Santander Remains Out On Sunday

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Anthony Santander (shoulder) remains out of the starting nine on Sunday when the Blue Jays conclude their series against the Seattle Mariners. Santander was unable to start on Saturday as well. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor Santander's status leading up to their next game on Tuesday evening against the Tampa Bay Rays. Before his injury, the 30-year-old had begun to find his swing as he had held a strong .250/.333/.500 slash line with a double, three long balls, and eight RBI across his past 10 games. This afternoon, George Springer will shift to the DH spot with opens center field for Myles Straw. Jonatan Clase and Nathan Lukes will cover the corners. The Blue Jays are best to fade in DFS facing Seattle right-hander Bryce Miller.
