Athletics catcher Shea Langeliers went 4-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Saturday's 11-7 win over the New York Yankees. The Portland, Oregon, native singled twice and doubled in the contest to record his second four-hit performance of the season. With the A's trailing 6-4 in the bottom of the seventh, Langeliers stepped up to the plate and launched a Fernando Cruz splitter 418 feet to dead-center field to regain the lead. Then, in the eighth, he doubled in two more runs (108 MPH exit velocity) to bring his season total to 22. The 27-year-old is up to eight dingers on the season now, to go along with a .248 average (32-for-129), five doubles, and 17 runs scored. Langeliers has drastically cut his strikeout rate in 2025 (15.2%) with only a slight dip in average exit velocity. However, he's registered the hardest-hit ball of his career in the early going (114.5 MPH).

San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb allowed five hits and two earned runs over seven innings in his team's 2-1 road loss to the Minnesota Twins. The 28-year-old walked one and struck out nine, falling to 4-3 on the season. The lone blemish against Webb came in the bottom of the third inning when designated hitter Trevor Larnach launched a two-run homer off him. He was excellent for the second straight start, but Twins pitcher Joe Ryan was equally as good and able to out-duel him. The former fourth-round pick has been stellar thus far, letting up three or fewer runs in all but one of his nine starts. He'll bolster a strong 2.60 ERA and 1.16 WHIP (65:14 K:BB) into his next start against the Athletics at home.

New York Mets infielder Brett Baty belted a pair of home runs in a 2-for-5 day at the plate during Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Cubs. The first home run was a three-run shot, and the second was a two-run blast, giving him five RBI and two runs scored in the contest. It was the second consecutivegame with a home run for the former first-round draft pick and the fourthof the season. Baty began the year with the Mets but was sent to Triple-A in late April, however, he was recalled this past Monday. After an 0-for-4 in his first game back, Baty is 4-for-8 with three home runs and six RBI in the last two games. Perhaps the 25-year-old goes on an offensive binge here, but caution is warranted as the left-handed slugger has been unable to maintain success at the major league level with a career .216/.280/.343 slash line over 672 plate appearances. He's eligible at both 2B and 3B on Yahoo! and available in most leagues for those willing to test their luck.

TorontoBlue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Mariners. The home run was just his second of the year, while he collected two RBI and scored once in the contest. The 2x All-Star has a solid .287/.337/.395 slash line with a .324 wOBA and 110 wRC+ so far this season, and many peripheral stats -- such as barrel and hard-hit rate -- are back in line with career norms after a down, injury-plagued 2024 campaign. While it hasn't shown up in the power department yet with a .108 ISO, his 9.3 percent barrel rate and xSLG of .504 may foretell that a surge is coming, and Saturday's performance may be a starting point.

San Diego Padres starting pitcher Stephen Kolek twirled a gem on Saturday, tossing a complete-game shutout in his second career start in the majors, picking up the win in a 21-0 blowout victory over the Rockies. The 28-year-old scattered five hits and two walks over nine innings while striking out seven. A week ago, the righty tossed five and one-third innings of shutout ball, leaving his ERA at a spotless 0.00 after two starts. The former 11th-round draft pick threw 46 2/3 IP for the Padres in his debut last season, but as a reliever, so this is somewhat uncharted waters for him, although he's worked as a starter in the minors. The 6-foot-3 hurler's next start lines up with a surprisingly stout Mariner lineup, and his recent success should allow the Padres to give Yu Darvish (elbow) as much time as he needs to build up his arm for a return to the mound.
