Jett Williams Tallies Three Hits, Swipes Two Bags

New York Mets infield prospect Jett Williams went 3-for-5 with one triple, two runs, one RBI, and two stolen bases during their contest against Double-A New Hampshire on Tuesday evening. This was Williams's second-straight game hitting a triple. This outing also extended his current hitting streak to five games. Last summer, the No. 55-ranked prospect in the sport and No. 2-ranked in Queens battled injuries and was only able to log 33 MiLB games. However, Williams has been very productive over the first 12 games of the Double-A campaign. During this stretch, the former 14th overall pick has held a strong .292/.346/.563 slash line with three doubles, two triples, two home runs, and four stolen bases. If he continues to perform well with Double-A, he could contend for an early-season Triple-A promotion.

Deyvison De Los Santos Posts Four-Hit Game

Miami Marlins infield prospect Deyvison De Los Santos went 4-for-5 with a triple and an RBI during his contest against Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday evening. Santos also swiped a bag in this contest. This performance extended his current hitting streak to six games. During this impressive stretch, the 21-year-old has held an impressive .400/.481/.720 slash line with two doubles, one triple, and a home run. This is a great sign as Santos got off to a slow start to the season. Over his first 14 games of the season, Santos held a .245/.321/.286 slash line with just two doubles and a 22:6 K:BB. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progression at Triple-A, as he should be in the mix to make his MLB debut later this summer. Last season, Santos posted an impressive .264/.311/.523 line with 26 home runs during his first extended look at Triple-A.

Josh Smith Stays Hot With Second Home Run

Texas Rangers infielder Josh Smith went 1-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Athletics. He also walked and struck out once. The 27-year-old was moved up to the leadoff spot in this one to give the offense a spark and continued his torrid pace to start the season. Smith is currently riding a seven-game hit streak that reaches back to before he sat out a few contests with a bruised thumb, and he's been spectacular. Overall, he's slashing .367/.456/.571 with two home runs, four doubles, four RBI, and 11 runs scored. Additionally, the former second-round pick has swiped three bags and seen his walk percentage jump to a robust 14.0%. It's unclear whether he'll stick at the top of the lineup against lefties, though we'll have that answer soon with Texas squaring off against left-handed hurler JP Sears on Wednesday.

Brent Rooker Pops Seventh Homer

Athletics designated hitter Brent Rooker went 2-for-4 with a home run, walk, and an additional run scored in his team's 8-5 loss to the Texas Rangers on Tuesday. Rooker's seventh long ball of the season came off Rangers reliever Jacob Webb in the bottom of the eighth inning to cut the A's deficit to three, but that was the last run they could plate in the contest. The lefty slugger is starting to heat up, racking up four multi-hit outings across his previous seven appearances. Over that stretch, he's batting a cool .379 (11-for-29) with three home runs, one double, five RBI, and eight runs scored. Rooker has maintained his exit velocity (91.9 mph in 2025) figures while cutting his strikeout percentage (25.7%) by three points from (28.8%) in 2024.

Ranger Suarez Cruises Through Third Rehab Start

Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Ranger Suarez (back) pitched five scoreless innings for Triple-A Lehigh Valley in his most recent rehab outing -- collecting a win against the first-place Columbus Clippers. The 29-year-old was solid, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out five. Through 12 minor league innings, he's let up just six hits and one earned run -- punching out 16 batters. Suarez built up to 59 pitches in this start (eight swinging strikes), and is scheduled for his fourth rehab outing this Sunday. It's possible that plan changes, considering fellow SP Cristopher Sanchez (forearm) left his start against the New York Mets on Tuesday with forearm soreness. Still, there's been no further update on his status. Currently, Suarez is on track to return to the team in early May.
