Ranger Suarez Tosses Six Scoreless Innings, Stays Undefeated

Philadelphia Phillies left-hander Ranger Suarez (4-0) continued his strong start Tuesday night, tossing six shutout innings in a 2-0 win over the Braves. The 29-year-old struck out a season-high eight batters, allowing four hits and three walks in Tuesday's victory. Surez picked up his fourth win of the season and remains undefeated in 2025. He now owns a 2.97 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 31 strikeouts over 30 innings. His 9.20 K/9 is a career high, showcasing increased swing-and-miss ability as he solidifies his role in the Phillies' rotation atop the NL East. Suarez will look to keep things rolling in his next start on Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Ranger Suarez Blanks Rockies for his Third Win

Philadelphia Phillies left-hander Ranger Suarez tossed a gem in Thursday's series finale at Coors Field in the 2-0 win over the Colorado Rockies to help the Phillies to their seventh straight win. Suarez put up one of his best performances of the season against the hapless Rockies by throwing 6 2/3 scoreless innings with six hits allowed, three walks and six strikeouts for his third win of 2025. The 29-year-old southpaw got a late start after missing the first five weeks of the year with a back injury. Since his disappointing debut on May 4, he's 3-0 with a strong 1.31 ERA in three starts. Although there isn't a ton of strikeout upside with Suarez, fantasy managers should continue rolling with him and the hot Phillies for his next scheduled start at Citizens Bank Park against the division-rival Atlanta Braves next week.

Ranger Suarez Throws Seven Shutout Innings

Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Ranger Suarez bounced back nicely during Saturday's start against the Cleveland Guardians. Suarez was crushed for seven runs during his season debut, but looked much better on the mound in this one. The left-hander really had no issues in this one as he tossed seven shutout innings, allowing three hits, while striking out five batters in the win. His next start will come in a favorable spot with a matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Suarez will likely be a popular waiver wire addition after this one and is a good streaming choice for his next start.
