Washington Nationals outfielder James Wood came ready to play for Saturday's game against the Colorado Rockies. Wood would help extend the lead with a three-run blast in the fourth inning. He would later add another RBI with a single in the seventh inning. Wood finished his day 3-for-5 with a homer and four RBI in the 12-11 victory. After that game, Wood is slashing .253/.356/.573 with seven homers and 17 RBI early in the season. The 22-year-old needs to be rostered in all fantasy formats as he has all the potential to be a superstar in this league.

Colorado Rockies outfielder Mickey Moniak has been on a nice stretch at the plate lately. On Saturday, Moniak took left-hander MacKenzie Gore deep with a two-run home run in the second inning. Moniak would later triple in the ninth inning as the Rockies were making a comeback attempt. Unfortunately for them, the Rockies would fall 12-11 in this one. Moniak finished his day 2-for-3 with four RBI and he extended his hit streak to four games. Moniak has two homers and five RBI over his last two games. He might be worth a look in deep leagues or NL-only formats right now.

Baltimore Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson had himself a nice day at the plate during Saturday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. He kicked off the scoring for the O's with a home run in the first inning. He would continue his hot streak with an RBI double in the second. Henderson finished with a solid game going 2-for-3 with a homer, double, and two walks in the win. It has been a slow start for the 23-year-old, but maybe this performance will help spark his bat. Despite the sluggish start, Henderson remains a must-have in all fantasy formats.

Athletics relief pitcher Mason Miller was asked to take the mound with a two-run lead on Saturday. The A's didn't have to use too many pitchers in this one with Luis Severino throwing eight innings before handing the ball to Miller. The Brewers didn't put up much of a fight as Miller threw a scoreless inning while striking out two batters to earn his sixth save of the season. Miller has been excellent early in the season and is a must-have in all fantasy formats.

Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll has been on another level at the plate over the last few weeks. On Saturday, Carroll started off the game with a home run off right-hander Ben Brown in the opening frame. It would kick off what would be a 3-for-4 day at the plate for Carroll. He extended his hitting streak to 12 games with that three-hit performance. Carroll has put his sluggish 2024 season behind him and is looking like an MVP-type player right now. Carroll obviously needs to be rostered and started in all fantasy formats as he has been one of the best players in the league.
