Boston Red Sox outfielder Tyler O'Neill (finger) remains out of the starting lineup on Saturday against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Fenway Park. O'Neill was scratched from the series-opening loss on Friday due to inflammation in his finger and will now miss a second straight game. Fantasy managers should consider the 29-year-old to be day-to-day and check back on Sunday to see if he's feeling good enough to play. Rob Refsnyder will make another start in left field and will bat fifth for the BoSox against Diamondbacks right-hander Zac Gallen. Refsnyder, who has very little power, is usually only worth recommending as a DFS sleeper when he's higher up in the batting order and facing a left-handed pitcher. The 33-year-old South Korean has hit .280 (37-for-132) with three of his nine home runs on the season against righties. The matchup alone against Gallen suggests to avoid Refsnyder.

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer and catcher Alejandro Kirk are both out of the starting lineup on Saturday against the Los Angeles Angels at Rogers Centre. Rookie Addison Barger, who had a walk-off home run on Friday night, is starting in right field and is hitting seventh, while Brian Serven is doing the catching and batting ninth against Angels right-hander Carson Fulmer. Springer could use the day off after going hitless in eight at-bats with two strikeouts in the last two contests against the Halos. He's also hitting just .171 (13-for-76) in 19 games in August, although he has contributed four home runs, a double, triple and 10 RBI. Barger, 24, does have two home runs this month, but he's mostly struggled in his first 123 MLB at-bats, going 22-for-123 (.179) with four home runs, 17 RBI and 11 runs scored for the Jays.

New York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu's (head) condition has improved and he has passed the league's concussion protocols, according to manager Aaron Boone, but he's not in the starting lineup on Saturday at Yankee Stadium against the Colorado Rockies. Jazz Chisholm Jr., who returned from the injured list on Friday, will start at the hot corner and will bat fifth against Rockies right-hander Bradley Blalock. LeMahieu was scratched from Friday's lineup after being hit in the face by a ball during pre-game warmups. The 36-year-old appears to have avoided a concussion, though, and should be considered day-to-day. There's a chance he'll return to action for Sunday's series finale against Colorado in the Bronx. It's been a pretty dismal year for LeMahieu, as he's hitting just .189 (35-for-185) with two homers and 24 RBI, and the return of Chisholm doesn't bode well for his playing time going forward.

New York Yankees outfielder/designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton is getting a day off on Saturday against the Colorado Rockies at Yankee Stadium. Aaron Judge will move into the DH role and will bat third, while Trent Grisham will start in center field and bat ninth against Rockies right-hander Bradley Blalock. It appears to be just a normal day off for Stanton, who has gone deep in back-to-back games. The 34-year-old right-handed slugger now has 22 home runs on the year and 56 RBI in 324 at-bats. He has four home runs in the month of August in 15 games with 11 RBI, but he's also hitting just .218 (12-for-55) with six walks and 15 strikeouts. The five-time All-Star continues to give fantasy managers high-end power but not much else. Grisham represents a low-upside deep-sleeper option in DFS at the bottom of the order. He's hitting just .190 (30-for-158) on the year with a .674 OPS.

Baltimore Orioles closer Seranthony Dominguez shut the door on the Astros in a 7-5 victory over Houston on Friday, earning his fifth save of the season. Dominguez had struggled recently after being crowned the closer, allowing home runs in three consecutive appearances, but was handed the ball in the ninth inning on Friday while former closer Craig Kimbrel pitched the eighth. It is a welcome sign for those fantasy managers who stuck with Dominguez, however, he also did not strike out a batter in the frame. The 29-year-old had recorded at least one strikeout in 13 straight appearances before Friday's outing. Nevertheless, closing games for an Orioles team that should continue to win a lot of games is a recipe for a valuable fantasy closer, and he should remain rostered until we see otherwise.
