Stanton also dealt with tennis elbow in both of his elbows last year, but it's a bit concerning this spring that he hasn't started swinging at all and may not do so for a while. Depending on when he begins ramping things up, the 35-year-old power hitter could be in danger of beginning the start of the 2025 season on the injured list. Stanton was a beast in the postseason in the Yankees' run to the World Series last fall and he was able to rebound during the regular season with a .233 batting average, 27 home runs and 72 RBI in 114 games. When healthy, he still has immense power, but the drawbacks almost outweigh the positives at this point. Stanton hasn't played in over 120 games since 2021 and isn't going to help your batting average at all.

If Stanton were to miss time at the start of the season, the Yankees would likely move several players to the DH spot. Last season, the 35-year-old posted a .233/.298/.475 line with 27 home runs. He generated an elite .509 xSLG with a 20.7 percent barrel rate. Even if Stanton misses time early in the campaign, he is still worth a look later in drafts as he will still carry high power upside when he is in the lineup.
