Miami Marlins outfield prospect Griffin Conine made his major-league debut Monday with the Marlins. Conine struck out in his lone at-bat in his first big-league contest. Conine, the son of former major-leaguer Jeff Conine, was a second-round pick by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2018 MLB draft out of Duke University. He's a career .244/.344/.485 hitter in the minor leagues in 585 games. This season in Triple-A Jacksonville, Conine hit .268/.350/.475 with 19 homers and 68 RBI. He will likely get more playing time moving forward, as the Marlins don't have much to play for down the stretch. He is not one of the Marlins' top 30 prospects but could get a good look the rest of the season.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki got in on the action in Monday's 18-8 win over the Pirates. Playing designated hitter, Suzuki went 4-for-6 with three singles, a double, an RBI, and a strikeout. He also stole a base. The 30-year-old has turned things around offensively after a mostly slow month of August, batting .364 with two home runs in his last seven games. This is a good sign for fantasy managers, as Suzuki has produced overall this season, slashing .274/.346/.487 with 18 HR, 60 runs scored, 61 RBI, and 11 stolen bases in 460 plate appearances.

Kansas City Royals relief pitcher Lucas Erceg continued his recent hot streak in Monday's Game 1 4-3 win over the Guardians, picking up his eighth save of the season. Erceg came in to pitch the bottom of the ninth inning up by one. He got the first out on a line-out, allowed a walk, and got the final two outs on a line-out and a pop-out. The 29-year-old has pitched well all season and has yet to allow a run since being traded to the Royals. Further, five of his last six appearances have been saves, suggesting that he is the Royals' bullpen arm to roster for fantasy managers down the stretch.

Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Bryce Miller continued his stellar season in Monday's 5-1 win over the Rays. Miller pitched seven innings, allowing a single run on two hits (including a solo home run) and no walks while tying his season-high strikeout mark with 10. The 26-year-old has made encouraging strides in his sophomore season and is now 10-7 with a 3.23 ERA, an 8.54 K/9 rate, and a 1.97 BB/9 rate in 26 starts and 150 2/3 IP. He will draw another favorable matchup in his next start at the Angels, who have struck out more than any other team over the last 15 days.

Philadelphia Phillies third base prospect Aidan Miller continued his strong August performance this past week, culminating with MLB.com's Prospect Team of the Week honors. Miller went 9-for-20 (.450) with four doubles, a triple, and a home run during the course of the week. For the month of August, the 20-year-old is slashing .342/.419/.618. The former first-rounder was promoted to High-A in June, and after some initial struggles, appears to have settled in nicely and should finish with some momentum heading into 2025. Miller isn't expected to debut until 2027 per MLB.com, but he's already made it to No. 27 on MLB.com's Top Prospects list and dynasty managers should keep a close eye on his performance next season.
